Who is Jared Goff’s wife? All about supermodel Christen Harper as she opens up about wedding day

Christen Harper, who is married to NFL star Jared Goff, and is often seen supporting him at his games, had previously opened up about her wedding day in an interview. On Monday, the Detroit Lions, led by Goff, won a crucial game against Baltimore Ravens at the M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland. Harper, who is model for Sports Illustrated, previously appeared in the second season of the Netflix documentary Quarterback, where she recalled a sweet moment from her special day.

The second season of the popular Netflix show Quarterback follows the lives of top NFL players. This season offers fans a glimpse into the lives of Jared Goff, Joe Burrow, Kirk Cousins and also features interviews with their closest friends and family members.

In her appearance on the series, which premiered on July 18, Christen Harper, who married Jared Goff in June 2024, revealed more about the special moment when she was walking down the aisle. She confessed that while she was walking, she first caught a glimpse of their dog Quincy, saying she could not have imagined the special occasion without him. She said:

"I couldn’t have imagined the day without him. I saw him before I saw Jared. I walked down the aisle to him almost.”

Jared Goff and Christen Harper began their relationship in 2019 after first meeting through a dating app. The couple dated for a few years and got engaged in June 2022. They later got married on June 22, 2024, in Ojai, California, in a private ceremony attended by their closest friends and family.

According to People Magazine, in an interview with Sports Illustrated, the supermodel revealed that she was initially reluctant to begin a serious relationship back in 2019 before meeting Goff. She said:

"I was truly not looking for anything at the time. I had just gotten out of a long relationship and I was trying to stay single for a year. Then I met him and the rest is history, baby."

Christen Harper was born on May 28, 1993, to parents Daria and Michael Harper. She, along with her older brother Shane Harper, grew up in Valencia, California and later attended California State University, Northbridge.

It was during this time, starting at the age of twenty, that she began pursuing her passion for modelling. Harper, who is now represented CAA talent agency, was of of the six models chosen to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Magazine in 2021 after previously making it to the round of fifteen for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search.

In an interview, she recalled the experience of participating in the event and said:

"I am so inspired by these women every single day. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to connect with so many different people across the country."

Harper and Jared Goff announced in February of this year that they were set to welcome their first child. The quaterback revealed in an interview with People Magazine how excited he was to become a father. He said:

“I know he's going to be the best [dad], and it's just gonna be exciting to do this together as a team."

The couple later announced in July that they had welcomed their daughter, whom they named Romy Isabelle.
