Jessie Cave played the role of Lavender Brown, a Gryffindor student at Hogwarts, also known for being friends with Parvati Patil. She was a part of Dumbledore's Army. Cave recently took to her Substack account to announce that she wasn't allowed to participate in a Harry Potter fan convention after she created an On*yF*ns account to create non-sexual but sensual hair content.

Jessie Cave explained,

"I found out that I didn't get booked for a Harry Potter convention recently, as I'm now doing OnlyFans. They explained it was because it's a 'family show and On*yF*ns is affiliated with Porn. This was baffling to me as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and fims in which they've done sex scenes and nudity. I'm just playing with my hair!"

She also added that she had participated in fan conventions for the beloved movie franchise for over 15 years,

"I am not upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter conventions. There's going to be a new cast now and it's a different time. Plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia."

Produced and distributed by Warner Bros, the Harry Potter franchise consists of eight films, beginning with the first film, which came out in 2001. HBO has been developing a new television series with a new cast.
