Curtis, often referred to as a “love guru,” has spoken openly about his journey through chronic pain and personal reinvention. After suffering from debilitating nerve issues following his freshman year at the University of New Hampshire in 1995, an MRI revealed spinal lesions, a turning point that led him to pursue alternative healing and eventually develop his signature therapy method, “hypno-realization.”

He describes it as a process to help people “break free from their past to create an entirely new reality of powerful loving connection.” Jennifer Aniston, who has experienced public breakups with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, appeared at ease on the holiday with Curtis, prompting fans and outlets to question if there’s more than just friendship between the two.

In a past conversation with Alyssa Nobriga, Curtis reflected on the discomfort of growth and uncertainty:

"In the perfect place at the perfect time, it may not feel perfect right because it couldn't be any other time, it couldn't be any other place or else you'd be there and therefore you are exactly where you need to be."
