Jim Edmonds' wife, Kortnie, reportedly called the cops on her husband's former wife, Meghan King, after she allegedly trespassed on their Missouri home.

Page Six has reported that Kortnie has now filed a restraining order against the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, Meghan King, 40, after she came to the home multiple times over the day on May 1 to cause a "disturbance."

Jim Edmonds, 55, is currently married to Kortnie O'Connor. The pair tied the knot in September 2022, having gotten engaged in August the year before. She is now the stepmom to seven of his kids from three different marriages.

Per People Magazine, the former professional baseball center fielder shared two kids with Lee Ann Horton, who died in 2015. He also shares two kids with Allison Jayne Raski, with whom he was married from 2008 to 2014. As for Meghan King, he tied the knot with her in 2014 and split in 2019. They co-parent three kids: twin sons Hart and Hayes, 7, and a daughter, Aspen, 8.

The legal drama involving Jim Edmonds, Kortnie, and Meghan King explored:

In a Frontenac Police Department incident report obtained by Us Weekly, cops reported witnessing King departing the residence in her Jeep, shortly after they were notified about the same. Per the report, after the cops pulled her over,

“Meghan advised she had contacted her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, earlier in the day to arrange the clothing drop off” for their daughter. She also reportedly "contacted Jim’s current wife, Kortnie Edmonds,” to arrange the drop off.

Per the documents, Kortnie claims Meghan King came to the home at 5 p.m. and "rang the doorbell multiple times." She said that she came up to the door to get a dress that King was supposed to simply leave at the doorstep. However,

'Meghan refused to hand Kortnie the dress and ‘pulled away and asked to speak to’ [her daughter]. Kortnie told Meghan that [her daughter] wasn’t home and she was at a baseball game with Jim'.

Kortnie then alleged that King got "upset," before she asked her to leave the dress and shut the door. While walking back to her office, she said, she

'heard Meghan inside the home yelling for [her daughter]. Kortnie walked back to the front door and observed Meghan standing inside the house approximately 5 feet from the doorway.' Kortnie alleged, 'Meghan slowly walked back outside the residence, but wedged her foot in the door briefly so Kortnie couldn’t shut the door completely. After Meghan moved her foot, Kortnie closed the door.'

According to the report, Kortnie initially decided against pressing charges for harassment, though she did so later anyway. Edmonds later came home and informed the officers that he had "surveillance footage of the encounter."

Per the outlet, as of June 6, all parties

'agreed to a consent order where King would not come near Kortnie, they would stay 150 feet away from each other at activities for the children and King would not mention Kortnie on social media.' King also reportedly agreed to the order to 'avoid prolonged litigation.'

However, just last month, the charges were reportedly "refused" and reclassified as 'inactive.' Meghan King was neither arrested nor detained. A source told Us Weekly:

“It was shocking to her that it happened in the first place. She is over this back and forth. She thinks it’s ridiculous. It was a very simple interaction that didn’t need police. Meghan is unfazed because she doesn’t want to escalate conflict. She just wants to take care of her family in peace.”

A representative for Meghan King told the outlet,

“The recent incident involving Meghan King has been mischaracterized. Meghan was simply attempting to drop off her daughter’s dress at the request of Jim Edmonds and in coordination regarding their child’s needs. Meghan briefly called to her daughter from the doorway, never stepped inside, had the door slammed in her face, and calmly left her belongings on the porch. Upon leaving, she was unexpectedly blocked by multiple police vehicles and treated in a way that felt unnecessarily hostile."

The rep went on,

“There is a long public record of police reports and [temporary restraining orders] in this matter that show Meghan is the one who has required protection — not the other way around. It should also be noted that Meghan has had primary responsibility for her children for some time now, with the other side’s involvement limited to select occasions. Meghan recognizes she is not alone — many women post-relationship face turmoil and untruths, especially when financial resources already create a personal dynamic of an uneven playing field. There is video footage of this incident, and Meghan wishes it would be shared publicly to clarify the truth.”

The rep also noted that Meghan King is upset over the situation and will not address the situation further, out of concern for her kids, who are old enough to come across the incident on a public forum. A representative for Jim Edmonds and Kortnie told the outlet:

“We’re going to let the facts speak for themselves.”
