Counting On's Abbie Duggar and husband John David Duggar are expanding their family of four by one more!

The pair, who already share daughter Grace Duggar, 5, and son Charlie Duggar, 2, took to their Instagram to share the happy news. Coupled with a photo of the sweet family holding up 1, 2, and 3-shaped balloons and one of Abbie's sonograms, they penned in the caption:

"We’ve been keeping a little secret. Baby #3 arriving early 2026!!!"

John David and Abbie Duggar confirmed their romance in June 2018, though by that November, they got hitched. By August 2019, they announced their pregnancy, and by February the following year, they welcomed a daughter named Grace Annette Duggar.

John David Duggar reportedly worked as a constable. The role has duties similar to a police officer, though they are also elected into office. He was reportedly re-elected in 2018 in Washington County, Arkansas, just after he got married. He won the race in February 2020 once again.

However, he also reportedly had a pilot's license for small planes, in addition to a helicopter pilot license. However, the former expired back in 2023 when he was involved in a harrowing plane crash with his wife and child. As of this writing, the official family website still lists his job as "pilot."

E! News has reported that John David's twin sister, Jana Duggar, has since wished him and Abbie Duggar a hearty congratulations.

"Congrats! So excited for you all!!" she penned under their Instagram announcement.

The Bates family, who are close to the Duggars, Parade has reported, also took to the comments section to celebrate the news. As of this writing, however, John David and Abbie Duggar have yet to announce the due date and gender of their child.

As for Jana Duggar, she herself announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Stephen Wissmann.

“We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family!” she penned online. “We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”

John-David's sister Jinger Duggar Vuolo, who is one of 17 other siblings, also reveled in Jana's news, per E! News, though she has yet to comment on Abbie Duggar's announcement:

“So stoked for my sis @janamduggar & @stephenwissman," she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Can’t wait to meet this precious little one and to be the favorite auntie ha."
