Besides Julia Fox, Him also features other actors, such as Marlon Wayans and Tyriq Withers. In her most recent cover story, Fox shared her approach to parenting her son, Valentino. Fox, during her interview with US Weekly, regarding her parenting philosophy, said:
"I think you just need to raise your boys the same way you raise your girls."
She continued:
"I feel like we put so much pressure on our girls, and we fill their heads with so much more cautionary tales....You need to be teaching them too, that they can grow up and their fists can be weapons."
Amid Fox's exclusive interview with US Weekly about her parenting philosophy, her fans and netizens are curious to find out about her son Valentino's father. The PVT Chat actress, Julia Fox, shares her 4-year-old son with her former husband, Peter Atremiev. They welcomed Valentino in 2021. They were together from 2018 to 2020. According to several sources as cited by Style, Peter Artemiev is a private pilot from Brooklyn.
Julia Fox recalled teaching her 4-year-old son about gender norms

During her US Weekly interview, Julia Fox recalled a moment when she explained gender norms to her son Valentino while they were watching a movie together. Fox said:
"With Valentino I don't let any little thing go unchecked. I remember we were watching a movie, and then this guy comes out wearing a wedding dress. And he was like 'Mommy, why is he wearing a dress?'"
Fox and her son live in New York City with her Uncut Gems co-star's friend, Richie Shazam, and his partner, Ben Draghi. She went ahead and gave an example to her son, saying:
"I was like, 'You know, Uncle Ben wears dresses, so if I wore a suit, would that be weird?' I saw the wheels turning, and it's like, 'Why is it only weird when boys wear girls clothes, but not weird when girls wear boys' clothes?'."
As per US Weekly, since Fox considers herself a critic of the patriarchy as well as a feminist, she was determined to break it down for her son. She is sure about the fact that when it comes to raising her son, she has to be motivated and dynamic. Fox went ahead and said:
"God forbid he goes out into the world and becomes the exact epitome of everything I hate because I was just like, 'It'll be fine.' That's really what it is all about: communicating and having those uncomfortable conversations, trying to get them to understand in a way that a 4-year-old can."
Fox added:
"But as soon as they start making those remarks, we have to start deconstructing that, because that's a little seed that has been planted....I don't want him to be that person."
She further elaborated to US Weekly that her approach to parenting lies in direct opposition to the way she was raised. She expressed sympathy for her parents and reiterated that it is true that one doesn't really understand or empathise unless they're a parent themselves.
In the same interview for the cover story, Fox also confessed that she is living her dream life, in a space she shares with her son, childhood best friend Richie Shazam, and their partner Ben Draghi.
Him is scheduled to release on September 19, 2025, and stars Julia Fox, Marlon Wayans, Tyriq Withers, and Tim Heidecker, among others.
