Who is Kane Brown’s wife? What we know as Taylor Swift joins singer for surprise performance at Tight End University

Kane Brown’s recent performance at the Tight Ends and Friends concert had a surprise cameo.

The country singer was joined on stage by Taylor Swift, who performed Shake it Off. It was The Tortured Poets Department singer-songwriter’s first performance in six months since the conclusion of the Eras Tour. After performing a duet with Kane, Swift thanked the band and hugged the country singer before exiting the stage.

Later, Brown shared a picture with Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce – one of the co-founders of Tight End University. He captioned the photo on Instagram,

“When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not 😂”

Kane Brown’s wife, who has attended his multiple shows in the past, seemingly absent from his Tight End University concert.

For those unaware, Kane Brown is married to Katelyn Jae, and they share three children. Like her husband, Katelyn is also a singer who has dropped tracks like Perfect and 24KT. According to People, she attended Pennsylvania’s West Chester University before dropping out after a year to focus on her music career.

Later, Katelyn Jae Brown pursued an undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music's Online Music Business program and graduated in 2019. Apart from her singing career and studies, she also entered the wine business by launching Allen Rose, combining his and Kane Brown’s middle names, in 2022.

Katelyn Jae and Kane Brown have also collaborated in the past on a track titled Thank God. At the same time, she also appeared in the music video of the country singer’s song Worship You with their daughter, Kingsley.

A look at Katelyn Jae and Kane Brown’s relationship timeline

The musician duo have been married for almost seven years after dating for a couple of years. Kane Brown met his future wife in Florida in 2015, a day before his first concert. The meeting was about the country singer appearing in Katelyn Jae’s music video. Kane recounted during an Instagram Live session with Radio.com in 2020,

“We met down in Florida. My very first show ever. I believe it was 2015. The day before that show, I was supposed to be on her music video, because she was an artist as well. And it couldn't happen because my show was the same day as the music video.”

Brown continued that, a year later, he got to meet Katelyn again at his other concert. He revealed,

“The same guy that we were working with brings her to a show. She didn't want to come and he forced her, basically. We met, we didn't talk at all, maybe I said ‘Hey’ to her, but I thought she was adorable. I kept looking at her all night.”

Kane told the host that he invited Katelyn Jae to Nashville and “flew her down” a day after the show. The couple “hit it off” and have been together ever since. According to Entertainment Tonight, The High Road singer announced his engagement to Katelyn in April 2017 during a concert in Philadelphia. In a video posted by a fan on X, the singer is heard saying (via ET Online),

“Some people found out on Instagram today and I had to delete this video. [...] I just got engaged to a girl from Philadelphia two days ago. This is my first time making this announcement, but we’re in Philly, so I thought I had to go ahead and make the announcement. So thank you Philadelphia.”

According to People, the couple tied the knot in October 2018 at Mint Springs Farm in Franklin, Tennessee. Katelyn and Kane Brown welcomed their firstborn, Kingsley Rose, on October 29, 2019. Their second daughter, Kodi Jane, was born in December 2021, which they announced via Instagram.

In December 2023, the couple confirmed the news of Katelyn’s third pregnancy. In a joint Instagram post, they shared a picture with their daughters, with Kingsley Rose holding an image of an ultrasound. Katelyn and Kane Brown welcomed their third child and first son, Krewe Allen, in June last year.
