Widely known for her supporting roles in multiple films, including Quentin Tarantino's cult classic Pulp Fiction, Kathy Griffin recently drew significant attention on the internet after she made rare comments about her late older brother, Kenneth Griffin, who died at the age of 68 on January 2, 2024. According to the Daily Mail, the 65-year-old actress turned comedian, Kathy Griffin, made troubling accusations against her late older brother, Kenneth, following her tribute to filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele.
Kathy Griffin, who is the recipient of two Primetime Emmy Awards for her Bravo reality show, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, in a video shared on her YouTube channel opened up about her older brother Kenneth, who accoring to her was a pedophile and talked about how his brother's reported pedophilia impacted herself and her late parnets Maggie and John Griffin, as per the Daily Mail.
According to Lakes Funeral Home, Kenneth Griffin, born in July 1955, worked in Kentucky's Motor Vehicle Department. While he worked in construction for different companies, he later also owned a construction company.
However, in her YouTube video, Kathy Griffin, as she spoke about the unfortunate death of director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele, who were reportedly killed by their son Nick, eventually talked about his older brother, Kenneth Griffin's pedophilia. Kathy said:
"I had two other brothers. They’re awesome. One is deceased. One, my brother John and I are very close. He’s the only sibling I have left. This is — I’m not talking about my brother John or my brother Gary. I’m talking about my eldest brother Kenneth."
She continued:
"When I talked about [his allegedly abusive behavior], the rest of my family was very, very upset with me."
As she described Kenneth as a crack addict and a violent individual, Kathy added:
"Well, my eldest brother, Kenneth — who is now dead, thank God — he was a crack addict. He lived on the streets, was extremely violent."
Kathy Griffin claims his late brother Kenneth Griffin had an 'undiagnosed mental illness'

According to the Daily Mail, Kathy, in her YouTube video, claimed that her older brother Kenneth had an 'undiagnosed mental illness that obviously did not go well with crack cocaine'. She also talked about how her parents, Maggie and John Griffin, never gave up on Kenneth and tried their best to save him. Kathy said:
"I can just tell you it was heartbreaking watching my parents, John and Maggie, try to save him his whole life."
Kathy mentioned that her parents informed her that Kenneth had been dealing with his issues since he was a teenager.
