Zac Brown was joined by girlfriend Kendra Scott, who is a jewellery designer and the owner of her eponymous million dollar jewellery label, Kendra Scott. On Monday, Brown received the first-ever Veterans Voice Award in recognition of his work and contributions in creating a platform to help veterans.

Kendra Scott has been married twice, first to John Scott in 2006 and then to Matt David in 2014. She has two kids from her first marriage and one from the second. The businesswoman has a net worth of $460 million, according to Forbes.

It was a big night for Brown, who, along with his band, Zac Brown Band, was nominated for Favorite Country Duo but later lost out to Dan + Shay. The new couple were seen on the red carpet, with Brown wearing a traditional black suit, which he tweaked by opting for a black wide-brimmed fedora and black reptilian-designed shoes, while Kendra Scott wore a Maria Lucia Hohan silver Brooke gown.

According to her website, Kendra Scott started her multimillion-dollar business back in 2002 with only $500. In her interview with People Magazine, she recalled going to different stores with her newborn son in an attempt to sell her jewelry. She said,

"I don’t know if they loved the jewelry or if they felt sorry for me."

The entrepreneur further added,

"This is the American Dream, I can’t even get my head around it... I don’t ever forget what the struggle was like and that’s why I’m so appreciative that the American Dream is still alive. It can happen!”

Kendra Scott reminisced in her interview with People Magazine about the day her first store opened, adding that there was a huge line filled with eager customers in front of her store and the reason they were there for her on that day. She said,

"I decided early on that if somebody ever asked for anything, for a donation, I would never say no, I would always have something to give."

According to The Sun, Kendra Scott has been married twice before. First, she was married to John Scott, with whom she has two children. The couple later divorced in 2006. Kendra Scott later married Matt David in 2014, who is an alcohol marketing executive who launched his own spirit brand, Playa Real Premium Tequilas, in 2018. The couple later divorced in 2020 after six years of marriage. They have one child together.

In her 2018 appearance on the Tamron Hall Show to promote her memoir named "Born to Shine: Do Good, Find Your Joy, and Build a Life You Love," she talked about the ski accident her son was involved in and revealed how she was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder because of the incident. She said,

"After you go through something like that as a mother and you do feel so helpless, I realized when I got back from that anytime the boys would do anything I would almost be just clenched with fear."

As someone who makes recurring appearances on Shark Tank USA, Scott is dedicated in her efforts to several charities. In her interview with People Magazine, she talked about her stepfather, whom she lost to cancer, adding that he motivates her to give back to her community in any way she can. She said,

"At the end of his life, he had a hard time speaking and he said 'You do good,’ and those words have stuck with me and have been the foundation for everything I’ve done going forward,”

Just last year, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Dolly Parton's song, "Love is Like a Butterfly," she collaborated with the legendary singer to release statement pieces that celebrate her iconic number.
