Who are Kevin Costner’s children’s mothers? Actor reveals lessons he’s learned as a father of 7 kids

In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, actor Kevin Costner revealed his biggest life lesson after becoming a father to seven children and raising them as unique individuals.

"You love them all the same, but they are all different, so you find ways to do that without treating them all the same." said Costner. "You've got to take into consideration their differences."

Kevin Costner shares three children - Annie, Lily, and Joe with his ex-wife Cindy Silva, son Liam with his former partner Bridget Rooney, and Cayden, Hayes, and Grace with his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.

Costner also shared that it's hard for all of them to get together owing to their busy schedules.

"It's here and there now. Trying to gather them all [together at the same time] is very difficult as they all move through the directions of their life." reveals Kevin Costner to People Magazine.

Costner also shared some parenting tips and advised that a parent has to adjust according to the individuality of their children.

"If you just keep coming at them in a certain way, and you're not getting through, it's up to you to change a little bit. Maybe your messaging, maybe how you do it. You have to adjust to their individuality."

Costner says that the idea of home and having a big family is very important to him.

"You try to provide a nice place that they'll want to return to" Costner says. "I always design my homes for me and mine — for my children and their children — so that they enjoy coming back."
