Who is Kim Woodburn’s husband? Peter Woodburn pays tribute to British star as she passes away

British television personality Kim Woodburn passed away at the age of 83 on June 16, 2025. Patricia Mary “Kim” Woodburn, commonly known as Kim Woodburn, starred in several popular British reality TV series such as I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother. According to The Irish Sun, she was reportedly dealing with an illness; however, no details about the illness are currently available.

While Kim Woodburn appeared on reality shows like I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2009 and Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, she gained major recognition and received mainstream popularity after starring in and hosting the Channel 4 TV show How Clean Is Your House?, alongside Aggie Mackenzie. The Channel 4 reality show, which primarily featured Kim, catapulted her to fame. In the show, she visited dirty houses with Aggie and cleaned them in the best possible way with the help of several other cleaning experts.

Besides starring on reality shows, Kim Woodburn also appeared on popular British chat shows such as This Morning and Loose Women. The late television personality, who was also a writer, was married to Peter Woodburn. Kim, who used to offer personal video greetings for a nominal fee to her fans, took to social media earlier this month and shared:

"No more videos for now, my loves, I need to get better!"

However, after Kim Woodburn’s unfortunate demise, her husband, Peter Woodburn, with whom she was married for over four decades, took to social media to pay tribute to his loving wife. Peter and Kim, despite sharing a long marriage of 46 years, did not have children. Peter might not be as popular as Kim, but he appeared alongside his wife on television shows. Not to mention, he was also seen with her in public.

Peter and Kim also appeared together on the British show A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun, in which they attempted to buy a house in the Costa del Sol region of Spain. The couple, who got hitched on August 2, 1979, lived in Nantwich, Cheshire.

After Kim’s untimely death on June 16, 2025, a representative of hers informed:

"It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness. Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate. We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career. We kindly ask that Kim’s husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details."

Following this, Peter Woodburn took to Kim’s official Instagram handle to pay her tribute and shared a post with a caption that read:

"My wonderful, beautiful, Kim passed away last night. God bless, my love, xx xx."
