Lara Flynn Boyle was spotted taking a stroll in Los Angeles last week on Thursday, the Daily Mail reported.

In the pictures obtained by the outlet, the Twin Peaks actress was seen walking her dog around Los Angeles’ Bel-Air neighborhood, where she reportedly has a residence. In the photos, Boyle donned a white baseball cap and a green puffer jacket, with gray sweatpants and sandals. At one point, the actress was photographed chatting with a neighbor. The Daily Mail also highlighted that:

“[Lara Flynn Boyle was] still sporting a fresh face and her famously svelte frame.”

According to the Daily Mail, it was one of the first public sightings of the Susan's Plan actress in almost two years. Lara Flynn Boyle’s showbiz career has seemingly taken a backseat in recent years, with her last project being Mother, Couch (2023), which was released stateside the previous year in July. The 55-year-old actress, who has kept a low profile for quite some time, is currently married to Donald Ray Thomas.

Thomas is Lara Flynn Boyle’s second husband, whom she has been married to since 2006. According to People, the actress fondly refers to her Texan spouse as “my urban cowboy.” For those unaware, Donald Ray Thomas is a real estate developer and investor. Before marrying him, Lara Flynn Boyle was romantically involved with notable Hollywood names at different points in her career.

The Baby's Day Out star apparently met her future husband when she was done dating the actors, according to her 2024 interview with People.

Lara Flynn Boyle credits “kismet” for her “lovely” relationship with her husband, Donal Ray Thomas

As mentioned, the Wayne's World actress dated many actors throughout her showbiz career. When Boyle was working on David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, she was reportedly in a relationship with her co-star Kyle MacLachlan, whom the celebrated director jokingly addressed as “Kale.” It is unclear when the pair broke up, but Lara tied the knot in 1996.

According to the New York Daily News, she married her first husband, John Patrick Dee, a music business exec in Las Vegas. Their marriage lasted two years before Lara Flynn Boyle parted ways with John. She was later involved with the comedian-actor David Spade, and according to Who’s Dated Who, their relationship lasted seven months.

After splitting up with David, who was also the brother-in-law of fashion mogul Kate Spade, Boyle dated Jack Nicholson for a few years. In her interview with People, the actress talked about being “done” with dating actors when she met Donald Ray Thomas. Lara Flynn Boyle recalled,

“I left with a bang when it came to actors. Then I went, ‘Okay, I’m done now.’”

Around 2006, Thomas and Boyle met at a mutual friend’s party and hit it off almost immediately. She told People how jokes helped them connect,

“He laughed at mine [jokes], I laughed at his.”

She commented on how she and Thomas decided to settle down,

“A lot of it is growing up. A lot of it is when you're ready, and I've been so fortunate, I've had so many lovely gentleman callers. I have had a blast, and I have just met wonderful men to have time with and to learn with and grow with. It was just the right timing.”

Lara Flynn Boyle described her relationship with Donald Ray Thomas as “lovely” and credited destiny (kismet) for the same,

“A lot of it is kismet, when it's meant to be, at the right time. I look back on my past relationships, and all of it at the time it's meant to be, and where you are in your life, and what you're taking in and taking out. It was just meant to be, it was just timing.”

The couple has been together for almost 19 years and resides in Los Angeles and Texas. Per People, they occasionally stay in different cities, but the actress admitted that they “don’t go long” without seeing each other.
