Lorenzo Lamas filed for divorce from his wife, Kenna Nicole Lamas, on Tuesday. As reported by People, Kenna has a diverse background. She describes herself as a “definite nerd,” and also as an explorer, adventurer, writer, and marketing executive. Before that, she spent ten years working as a model in Los Angeles.

Kenna Nicole Lamas is also a mother of two sons from a previous relationship. Her older son, Anderson Rulon, was born on October 7, 2010. In a heartfelt post commemorating his 10th birthday, she recalled,

“I had the most peaceful labor at my house and while I tried for a water birth, he ended up being a bathroom floor birth born en caul and he had the sweetest little cry. He has been the most wonderful little being. Always complimenting and encouraging people, he has the most positive outlook and is the most empathetic person.” she shared.

Her younger son, Atticus Alan, was born on September 3, 2012. On social media, she described him as her “mini-me,” writing,

“Except he’s a lot wittier than I am! He is so adventurous, he will try anything. He loves climbing, traveling and exploring new places.”

According to a report by TMZ, Lorenzo Lamas filed for divorce from Kenna Nicole Lamas after less than two years of marriage. Court documents obtained by the outlet show that Lamas listed January 21, 2025, as the official date of separation.

He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The documents also confirm that the couple has no minor children, so custody and child support won't be part of the proceedings. Lamas also requested that the court refrain from making any decision regarding spousal support for either party.

It remains unclear whether the pair had a prenuptial agreement in place.

Kenna Nicole Lamas married Lorenzo Lamas after a long engagement:

In 2021, Lorenzo Lamas proposed to Kenna Nicole Lamas during a trip to Nevada, as first reported by People. The actor shared updates about his love life in a press statement at that time.

“I proposed to Kenna on Thursday the 11th of February in Las Vegas. She accepted my Lifetime Valentine's request," he shared.

He went on to describe their relationship as something extraordinary.

"It is a love like no other and we look forward to the day we become husband and wife. Sometimes love waits for the stars to align and two soul paths to intersect. We are ecstatic!" he explained.

The couple finally got married in 2023 after over two years of being engaged. Kenna later shared photos from their wedding on Instagram, offering a heartfelt and humorous look at their journey to the altar.

“2 days ago I married my best friend! About time (we had a 2.5 year+ engagement), but in that time I learned I am ADD and a poor wedding planner which caused the dates to move around a lot!” she wrote.

She also spoke about how their love grew stronger over time.

“Lorenzo Lamas and I fell into a deeper love every day. Had many many adventures and our big day could NOT have been more perfect!”

Kenna expressed gratitude to friends and family, both present and absent.
