Bryan Cranston won an Emmy award for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series at the Creative Arts Emmys.

This marks the 7th Emmy Award for the Better Call Saul actor. Previously, Cranston won 4 Emmy awards for playing Walter White in the hit TV series, Breaking Bad. Bryan Cranston also won his subsequent 2 Emmys for the same series as a producer.

Bryan Cranston's recent win ties him with legendary actor Ed Asner, who held the record for winning the most Emmy Awards as a male actor. This was revealed by Asner's son, Matt Asner, himself via an X post.

Matt took to X to congratulate Bryan Cranston on his 7th Emmy win and noted that this win ties the actor with his father.

With a lineup of commendable actors, including Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, Catherine O’Hara, and Kathryn Hahn, The Studio is a satirical comedy set inside a fictional place called Continental Studios.

Seth Rogen plays the protagonist, Matt Remick, in the series. While Bryan Cranston plays the role of Griffin Mills, an unpredictable and wacky studio head.

Produced by Point Grey Pictures and Lionsgate Television, The Studio is created by Frida Perez, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. The series became a hit within a short span of its release with smashing records by achieving 23 Emmy nominations in its debut season. For a comedy's debut performance, this is the highest ever.

The Emmy Awards are one of the most prestigious awards for honoring creativity and talent in American television.

While Bryan Cranston has won 6 Emmys for Breaking Bad and 1 for The Studio, as mentioned above. Ed Asner won 7 Emmys for shows like Lou Grant, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Rich Man, Poor Man.

Following Cranston and Asner are Art Carney and John Lithgow, who have both won 6 Emmy Awards. Carney for The Jackie Gleason Son, Terrible Joe Maron and The Honeymooners, and Lithgow for The Crown, Dexter, 3rd Rock From the Sun, and Amazing Stories.

Don Knotts, Tim Conway, Peter Falk, John Larroquette, and Michael J Fox are next on the list with 5 Emmys each for their commendable performances in various television shows.
