As per a recent article by US Weekly, Marston Hefner, the third child of Hugh Hefner, who is the founder of Playboy magazine, recently opened up about his father's eating preferences.
Marston Hefner, a content creator and writer, took to Instagram on Saturday, August 09, and shared the recipe of a specific type of mini cheeseburger that his father, who was very clear when it came to his choices, seemed to enjoy.
Marston, 35, captioned the photo, "HUGH HEFNER’S MINI HAMBURGER DINNER," before enumerating the Playboy founder’s seemingly tall order.
Furthermore, he added to the notes that the meal was always served "with chilled applesauce," and a request for snacks, including "Lays Potato Chips or Skinny Fries instead of Tator Tots," could also be placed.
As per a section of the post, it stated,
"When Mr. Hefner calls for his dinner, everything should be ready and assembled immediately. The Butler should serve the meal immediately."
The Notes section further reiterated that Hugh Hefner might order a snack.
"This is for an HMH Mini Burger Dinner. Depending on time of day, Mr. Hefner may order it as a snack—check with the Butlers."
Marston Hefner reflected on his experience of growing up in the shadow of his father's Playboy enterprise in an exclusive March 2025 interview with US Weekly. He recalled that he was able to form bonds with those he referred to as "ambitious playmates" through his father's business enterprise.
Marston told US Weekly,
“They were not using Playboy as a way into Hollywood. For the most part, they were using it to pay for vet school or to get them further in their career. One [Kelly Wearstler] became a really successful interior designer from doing that. Those were the Playmates that I gravitated to and had the most interesting conversations with.”
