Kill Bill actor, Michael Madsen, was first married to Georganne LaPierre from 1984-1988, Jeannine Bisignano from 1991-1995, and DeAnna Madsen from 1996 till the time of his death on July 3, 2025.

Madsen was found unresponsive in his Malibu home on July 3 and was pronounced dead at the scene at 67. Officials cited the cause of death as cardiac arrest. His managers, Susan Ferros and Ron Smith, released a joint statement announcing his death, saying,

"Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood's most iconic actors, who will be missed by many."

Sgt. Christoper Jauregui, watch commander for the Los Angeles Sheriff Department Lost Hills Stations, confirmed to CNN on July 3 that deputies responded to Madsen's home in Malibu and found him unresponsive, adding that no foul play is suspected. Madsen's death comes just three years after he lost his eldest son, Hudson Madsen, in January 2022.

Hudson, a U.S Army sergeant, died by suicide on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, in January 2022, at 26.

More about Michael Madsen's family

Michael Madsen was married three times before his tragic death on July 3, 2025. Michael was married to Georganne LaPierre and Jeannine Bisignano before tying the knot with DeAnna Madsen on April 15, 1996.

Michael and DeAnna were together for 28 years, until Michael filed for divorce in September 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Michael welcomed six children: two sons, Christian and Max, with Jeannine, three sons, Kalvin, Hudson, and Luke, with DeAnna. It was also reported that Michael had a daughter named Jessica with Dana Mechling.

Two of his sons, Christian and Max, followed in his footsteps and pursued acting. Christian is known for his roles in Divergent and Palo Alto. Max has appeared on Yellowstone and in multiple short films.

His son, Hudson, who was a US Army sergeant and had served in Afghanistan, died by suicide in January 2022. Michael opened up about his son's passing in 2024, and denied a family rift, along with allegations made in court that his estranged wife had neglected his son.

"To whom it may concern. A few recent articles have suggested my disillusionment with my marriage and a dark connection between my wife and the loss of our son. I was not the writer of this story and wish my wife no harm or embarassment."

His other son, Kalvin, is an actor and producer, and was last seen in Spirit Riser in 2024.
