Actor Charlie Hunnam recently made a public appearance with his girlfriend, Morgana McNelis.

Hunnam was spotted on a rare date at the 2025 Emmy red carpet with his longtime girlfriend, Morgana McNelis. McNelis, who is a jewellery designer, has been dating the actor for nearly two decades. The couple is known to share a private life away from the limelight.

The adorable couple walked the red carpet side by side on September 14 for the Emmy Awards, which was presented by comedian Nate Bargatze and took place at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Morgana McNelis was spotted in a stunning floor-length golden gown with a plunging neckline. She completed the look with a black bag, black heels, and jewellery.

With his jacket unzipped to show off a gleaming matching shirt, Hunnam looked dapper in a dark blue suit. The former Sons of Anarchy star accessorized his ensemble with sunglasses and black shoes.

Actor Charlie Hunnam has previously talked about his longtime relationship with McNelis and their thoughts on marriage. He also shared that he already considers himself married to McNelis.

As a professional, Morgana McNelis is the brain behind Maison de Morgana, a jewellery line that specialises in earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets made from white bronze and brass.

According to a 2012 interview with ELLE, Hunnam talked about how McNelis also created jewelry for him.

"She told me she was making me a diamond encrusted ring - she's a jewelry designer, not an actor - and I was like 'Uh-oh. This is not going to go well for me,' But I love it. It's so discrete and beautiful," Hunnam told the publication.

McNelis is also known for her philanthropy. On several occasions, she has collaborated with the nonprofit organization Naretoi, which provides educational programs to Maasai women in Kenya.

Her friend Rafaelle Abramovitz is in charge of the group, which she described in a 2020 Instagram post, and its mission is to "empower girls and women through education, relationship building, and selling Maasai jewelry."

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Morgana McNelis assisted in arranging food donations for Maasai families in addition to organizing fundraising events for educational initiatives.

The ultra-private couple prefers country life over the buzz of Hollywood. In 2013, Hunnam and Morgana McNelis purchased a ranch in California with the intention of living more slowly and sustainably.

"My girlfriend and I just bought a ranch, so we are getting out of Hollywood completely. It's in California. We've got 30 chickens and a couple of donkeys, a couple of ducks and we've got a big, organic garden. We are going to try to live a bit more sustainably," Hunnam said in an interview with the U.K.'s 7 Nights magazine at the time.
