Who are Nicola Peltz’s parents? Brooklyn Beckham’s billionaire in-laws sued by former housekeeper

Nicola Peltz's parents, Nelson and Claudia, have been sued by their former housekeeper, who claims that their pitbull's attack left her disfigured and severely injured.

According to a report published by Page Six this Friday, May 23, Mileydis Morejon is suing the billionaires for $75,000. In documents obtained by the outlet, Morejon is claiming that the “vicious” and “untrained” pet named Houdini attacked her multiple times in 2023 in Brooklyn Beckham's in-laws' $100 million Florida mansion.

Morejon is also alleging that the pit bull “ripped” her clothes in one instance, while another time, she fell to the ground attempting to escape” after the dog reportedly lunged at and attempted to attack the Plaintiff." In another incident, Morejon claims she had to fend off the canine with a vacuum.

Nelson Peltz, 82, is an established fast food mogul, and his wife, Claudia Heffner Peltz, 70, is a former model. They have been married for over 30 years, during which time they welcomed eight children together. In an interview with Byrdie in February 2024, Nicola reflected on how her parents' union, and that of her in-laws, David and Victoria Beckham, have inspired her:

“Anyone who has been married for a long time, it’s such a beautiful thing,” she said. “My parents have been together for maybe 40 years? And David and Victoria have been together since Brooklyn was a baby, which is like 25 years. My parents, their love inspires me every day. It sounds cheesy, but that’s how I feel.”

The billionaire pair has since denied negligence, the Daily Mail has reported. In several photos uploaded on Instagram, the Last Airbender actress and their daughter, Nicola, 30, can be seen cuddling with the canine.

As reported by the outlet, however, the former housekeeper claims that Houdini had a vicious nature, a vicious disposition, and/or had a propensity to attack/or attempt attacks which was known or should have been known by defendants.'

The complaint outlines an incident, allegedly dated November 2, 2023, when Houdini was left unleashed and went rabid in the vicinity of the oceanfront estate typically used for business guests.

'Houdini, without any provocation, suddenly and without warning lunged at and/or attempted to attack plaintiff,' the five-page suit states, according to the Daily Mail. Morejon was 'injured when she fell to the ground attempting to escape from Houdini's attack.'

Morejon is citing the Florida law that asserts that 'owners of dogs shall be liable for any damage done by their dogs to a person.' She claims to have suffered disfigurement, distress, and a hit to her earnings, among other things.

According to Page Six, the Peltz's have since pushed back on the claims, as seen in papers filed in May 2025. They claim that it’s “undisputed” that Morejon “did not suffer from a dog bite" as she never came in contact with it, and hence should “not be entitled to recover compensation” over the same.

Nelson and his wife, who according to the Daily Mail is worth an estimated $1.4billion, are claiming Morejon had “interacted” with, “routinely encountered,” and “cleaned up after” the dog during her time as housekeeper of the grounds, and hence, should have gotten accustomed to his behavior.

Nelson Peltz, a former Wendy's chairman, recently sued wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Miami event planning firm Plan Design Events (PDE). He claimed that they offered “no services of value” and portrayed Nicola in an “extremely negative light" during her nuptials, which required a $159,000 deposit.
