American rapper Nu Jerzey Twork has allegedly been arrested, according to multiple online reports. He is said to be facing a charge of obtaining property by false pretense and is scheduled to appear in court on October 8, as claimed by the X account @BattleRapVisual.

The page further claimed that Nu Jerzey Twork illegally and with the intent to cheat obtained a 2017 White Mercedes from Najat Mouhidine. He reportedly provided false documents, forging the victim's signature, and received the vehicle from Deckers Auto.

Nu Jerzey Twork, 31, is a battle rapper from New Jersey, whose real name is Raivon Anderson, according to Genius.

Meanwhile, the Facebook page For The Culture Battle League shared an alleged mugshot of the rapper and claimed that the alleged arrest took place on September 17 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

YouTube channel hiphopisreal.com claimed that the Nu Jerzey arrest rumor was first posted by OTFMZ on social media. However, the authenticity of the rumor remains unclear.

Twork reportedly had events lined up, including the Summer Madness event in London against Loaded Lux on September 21. He recently performed at Culture Fest.

Nu Jerzey Twork, whose real name is Raivon Anderson, was born on November 16, 1993, in Trenton, New Jersey. His stage name was seemingly inspired by his home state and the word “twerk,” as per Genius.

He began his career as a battle rapper and recording artist in 2016 at the Proving Ground battle. Later, he also released singles including Mushu, Murdertown, and Jeroozalem, according to Famous Birthdays. His debut album, Jerusalem, was dropped in January 2021.

Twork has over 138K Instagram followers. One of the reels on his profile features an interaction with Canadian rap icon Drake. He also has 54.1K followers on X. According to versetracker.com, the 31-year-old Jersey native has 91 battles catalogued with average views of 459,636 and a total of 41,826,908 views.

In February 2020, Nu Jerzey appeared on a billboard in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout his career as a battle rapper, he has faced off against Charlie Clips, Tay Roc, JC, Arsonal, John John Da Don, Shotgun Suge, III Will, Chess, Aye Verb, Real Name Brandon, and Rum Nitty, among others.

According to letstalkbattlerap.com, Nu Jerzey Twork is signed with URL and performed at the Smack Volume 9 and Til Death Do Us Part events in late 2021. He headlined the former with Tsu Surf (Free the Wave) and battled Snake Eyez for the 2022 Midnight Madness event and later Real Sikh on Civil War 3.

In 2023, Nu Jerzey Twork faced off against Chef Trez, Jaz The Rapper & Coffe Brown, and Hollow Da Don on Summer Madness. Twork’s last social media post before being allegedly arrested was a tribute to up-and-coming rapper Don Billionaire, on Instagram on September 15, who passed away recently.
