AKAY Diamonds owners are facing assault charges for attacking TraxNYC owner, Maksud Agadjani, inside their shared business space on West 47th Street.

AKAY Diamonds is owned by brothers George Akay, 46, and Freddy Akay, 42. This comes after TraxNYC owner Maksud Agadjani recently claimed that AKAY Diamonds had sold jewelry under his name, while misinterpreting the value of goods.

Agadjani on Friday posted a video on Instagram where he can be seen screaming at an unidentified man at an AKAY Diamonds booth while holding up a receipt.

"Need my 22k from these thieves, they robbing poeple and calling the cops on me. Where's my f**king money, you motherf**ker You're using my name, you b**ch. You f***ing thief."

In the viral video, people at the jewelry store can be seen rushing to Maksud and trying to get him away from the person he had been screaming at. The person behind the booth then spat at Agadjani, cursing Agadjani to hit people around him, causing a scuffle.

Trax is a well-known high-profile jewelry company with over 3.3 million followers on its Instagram.

What is the TraxNYC owner accusing AKAY Diamonds of?

Maksud Agadjani, after the violent scuffle in TraxNYC and AKAY Diamonds' shared personal space was later taken to Bellevue Hospital. In the hospital, Maksud recorded another video of his neck, which had red marks, and claimed that the brothers assaulted him.

"In the end, they tried to kill me. Strangled me with my own chain."

Agadjani posted another video where he is allegedly sitting next to the customer who was duped by AKAY Diamonds. He showed the customer's receipt and said,

"This is the receipt of this disgusting company that pretends to be me. Sells them TraxNYC, sells my customer a bracelet ripped some off, and ripped some off. They say it's 14k karat gold, we're gonna test this bracelet right now."

Agadjani tested the authenticity of the bracelet and revealed that the bracelet only had 10 karats. Maksud then questioned the customer sitting alongside him, and as per the conversation, AKAY Diamonds allegedly tried to portray themselves as Trax and sell one of Trax's products. The customer reportedly showed up at AKAY with a picture of a product from TraxNYC's website, and the jeweler's store mentioned that they had run out of it.

As per police reports obtained by the NY Post, the Akay brothers have been charged with assault. Another unidentified person whose role was not mentioned in the scuffle was hit with a summons.

AKAY Diamonds has yet to acknowledge and reply to the incidents.
