Who is Paige Lorenze? Tennis star Tommy Paul gets engaged to influencer girlfriend after his Wimbledon stint

Tennis star Tommy Paul and his influencer girlfriend Paige Lorenze are officially engaged!

Following a tough stint at Wimbledon that saw early exits, the sportsman got down on his knees and popped the big question to his partner on a beach. They promptly took to Instagram to celebrate the news:

“forever 🤍,” Lorenze captioned the post.

The two got engaged after dating for three years. Lorenze was raised in Connecticut and Vermont before shifting to New York to study at Parsons School of Design. She graduated in 2021 and has since been working as a model, entrepreneur, and influencer.

Paige Lorenze launched her lifestyle and clothing brand that same year, as reported by People Magazine, and it sells loungewear, denim, hats, bags, and candles. As reported by The US Sun, Paige Lorenze once said of her husband-to-be:

"He is the least needy boyfriend, first of all. He’s so supportive of me. He wants me to be doing what makes me happy. And as much as he wants me at every tournament, he totally understands. We just have such good communication. But at the Slams, I think support is more important. The guys are nervous. But we’ve built out a really healthy relationship where he’s not dependent on me. He’s not superstitious. And it’s not an unhealthy sporting relationship where, if I’m not doing something in the box a certain way, he’s going to spiral."

She went on,

"That’s not Tommy and me at all. It’s really normal and healthy. He doesn’t have that crazy that a lot of tennis players have. He’s just very humble, and I look up to him a lot in that sense. With him, what you see is what you get, and that’s how he is as a partner as well. He’s the best."

Tommy Paul is 28 and currently stands No. 13 in the world. His girlfriend has been spotted at several of his games as she cheered him on, even through some of his losses against heavyweights like Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, and Carlos Alcaraz.

Previously, Paige Lorenze dated actor Armie Hammer. Per the Daily Mail, they were together from September to December 2020. However, the following year, she was one of several women to come forth and accuse him of being controlling and abusive.

She alleged he used a sharp knife to etch his initial into her skin and would also repeatedly express a desire to eat one of her ribs.

"He really thought that his fantasies were normal behavior in the BDSM, non-normative, s*xual kink community. I thought that this is what it was. I thought I was safe,' she told the outlet at the time. 'But any man who is fantasizing about crushing bones, eating them, having s*x with female limp bodies is a danger to all women. His actions and behavior are dangerous and emotionally and psychologically damaging."

Paige Lorenze also dated NHL player Kasperi Kapanen before that, from 2019 to 2020. Following that, she dated singer Morgan Wallen, though they broke up in 2022.
