Although Roman Anthony’s Major League debut with the Boston Red Sox has people talking, it was his sister, Lia Anthony, who grabbed the headlines when she attended a recent game at Fenway Park.

As the 21-year-old top prospect approached the pitch, cameras panned to his family in the stands, thanks to which Lia immediately became a fan favorite on social media.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Lia Anthony is currently working towards her degree in Human Development and Family Sciences at Florida State University. She is on the pre-physician assistant track, is minoring in biology, and is getting ready to head to a master’s program focused on physician assistant studies following graduation.

Lia has also sought clinical experience through internships and working at healthcare facilities around Florida, which includes her work with Sanitas Medical Center and Supriya Dermatology. Anthony’s mother, Lori Anthony, is also a trained physician assistant. Therefore, it seems like Lia is following in her mom's footsteps.

Anthony’s proud, close-knit family was overcome with emotion at Roman’s second MLB game, when he recorded his first major league hit, a two-run double against the Tampa Bay Rays. As Roman was celebrating his career first, Lia also soon trended following her NESN cameo. Her poise and presence drew praise from online fans.

According to TMZ, during the game, Lia reportedly spoke to a reporter and termed her brother's success as something “surreal.”

According to MassLive, Anthony had previously stated that his sister was into figure skating.

Roman Anthony also has an elder brother who shares the same first and last name with his father, Anthony Anthony. His brother recently graduated from the University of Florida and is said to be working as a real estate agent.
