Ryan Gosling's Star Wars film is one of the most anticipated entries in the Star Wars franchise in recent years, and while details of the film's premise have been kept tight-lipped, we finally have some insider details on what fans can expect from the film.
According to The Hot Mic's John Rocha, Amy Adams will be playing a Jedi mother in the film, whose son is revealed as Force-sensitive. The plot reportedly follows Ryan Gosling's character, who helps his young nephew escape two villains chasing them across the stars. He is guided by a mission that is connected to Adams' character. Gosling's journey is rumored to connect to Rey Skywalker's efforts to rebuild the Jedi Order. However, one of the biggest reveals is that Ryan Gosling will not be a Jedi himself.
The project is being helmed by Shawn Levy, known for his work on Deadpool & Wolverine. Talking about the film, Rocha said,
"The main kid is Force-sensitive. His mom is being played, as we said, by Amy Adams. She seems to be a Jedi. Gosling is not a Jedi, but he's helping his nephew escape two evil bad guys who are chasing him across the stars. He has a mission he's on, given to him by Adams."
This reveals a great deal about the film's narrative, and where Gosling fits in within the Star Wars franchise. Although this has yet to be confirmed by official sources, fans will have to wait for more details.
