Who is Sheree Gustin? Steve Burton’s ex-wife accuses actor of harassment over seeing children

Sheree Gustin and Steve Burton, chose to end their wedding, back in 2022. However their separation, hasn’t led to peace for either party. Recently, Sheree Gustin, accused her ex-husband of harassment. The conflict between the General Hospital actor and his former wife, developed into a public custody dispute, in regards to their minor daughter, Brooklyn.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Sheree Gustin alleged that Burton’s communications had grown excessive and unwelcome.

“In the past few months, [Steve] has started to message me and accuse me of parental alienation if he cannot get ahold of Brooklyn, his messages are almost daily and are harassing.” she shared.

In response, Burton’s attorney, Sarah C. Clark, rejected the claims outright. Speaking to Us Weekly, she said,

“Steve maintains that Sheree’s allegations are categorically false. He has, and will continue to, act in the best interests of the parties’ daughter, Brooklyn, which includes ensuring there is frequent and continuing contact with both parents.”

Sarah C. Clark also referenced a recent court decision.

“On May 12, 2025, the Court heard the evidence loud and clear and granted Steve additional custodial time with Brooklyn that Sheree was unwilling to provide.” added Clark.

1. Makena Grace (born 2003),
2. Jack Marshall (born 2006),
3. and Brooklyn Faith (born 2014).

According to a report by soapsindepth, after her separation with Steve Burton, Gustin tied the knot with Jason Amador on February 7, 2025. Overwhelmed, she shared her wedding news through an Instagram reel. Sheree also changed her surname to Amador, on Instagram.

Steve Burton accuses Sheree Gustin of blocking visitation over concerns about new wife:

The legal back and forth followed Burton’s earlier claims that, Sheree Gustin had not only made visitation difficult but also had concerns about his relationship with his new wife, Michelle Lundstrom, whom he married in early May.

Steve Burton shared his opinions about the same, via In Touch.

“Sheree has seemingly forgotten how our family ended up in this situation. It was Sheree who had an extramarital affair, became pregnant with another man’s child and immediately moved him into her home after our separation, without informing me she would be doing so” he shared.

“Early on in my relationship with Michelle, Sheree began to refuse to call Michelle by her name and instead referred to her as ‘the girl’ in an effort to downplay her role in my life, In one text message exchange, Sheree stated, in part, as follows, ‘Michelle is not your family or our kids’ family lol. She is your girlfriend.” added Steve Burton.

According to Steve, Sheree opposed Brooklyn’s presence around Michelle and her children. He claimed that when they were in town, Sheree obstructed his efforts to see Brooklyn. He added that, Sheree frequently dismissed his requests by stating that the timing did not work or that they had other plans, even with prior notice.
