Steve Burton has exchanged vows with his fiancée Michelle Lundstrom over the last weekend, People Magazine confirmed in an exclusive story. The pair engaged in January, which the actor announced via his Instagram.
Before marrying Netflix's BBQ Showdown Season 2 contestant, Burton was married to fitness coach Sheree Gustin. The former couple got hitched in January 1999 and raised three children, two daughters and a son, together. According to Us Weekly, Steve and Sheree welcomed their firstborn, Makena, on September 5, 2003, almost five years after their wedding.
Burton and Gustin’s only son was born on March 26, 2006, almost three years after the birth of their older daughter. The General Hospital star announced the birth of his third child with his first wife in July 2014. Steve Burton took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to share the news as he wrote,
“Thanks for your prayers. Brooklyn Faith Burton has arrived!! Momma and baby are doing great. Much luv..”
A few days later, Steve Burton shared a picture with Brooklyn Faith and wrote on X,
“Me and my sleeping beauty. Brooklyn Faith. I love you!”
Over the years, the Days of Our Lives actor posted multiple pictures and tweeted about his other children, Jack and Makena. In September 2021, Steve penned a heartfelt post for his oldest kid on her 18th birthday,

According to TMZ, Burton filed for divorce in July and filed on May 1, 2022, as the date of separation. The Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem actor cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for parting ways with Gustin. According to Us, the ex-couple’s divorce was finalized in December 2023. Steve and Sheree also share the “legal and joint custody” of their children.
