This was a result of his crop insurance fraud case, and he was ordered by the judge to do this by 2 p.m. local time. McBee turned himself in by approximately 1:30 p.m. local time. McBee shared an Instagram video, thanking people for their support and said,"I just want to tell everybody thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers. The support has been overwhelming; I appreciate it so, so much. I stayed up 'til three a.m. last night trying to reply to everybody because I want to give that respect, that they took the time to reach out to me. If I didn't get back with you, my sincerest apologies."Steve McBee responded to fans who asked how they could support him best during this time and said that they could visit the family business's website and order meat there."That helps so much.
