More about Tom Parker's life and health explored, as Kelsey Parker makes tragic announcement

Tom Parker, who rose to fame in 2009 with the release of The Wanted's first single, 'All Time Low," was diagnosed with grade IV glioblastoma in October 2020.

In an interview with Ok! Magazine, Tom Parker, who was rushed to the hospital after he had a seizure, talked about how shocking the news of the diagnosis was for him and his family. He said:

"I knew something wasn't right, but I never expected it to be this. I'm going to be here. I'm going to fight this."

According to the Cleveland Clinic, grade IV glioblastoma is a common type of brain tumor that affects healthy cells in a person's brain and spinal cord. Treatment procedures include radiation therapy or chemotherapy, and symptoms often include weight loss, memory loss, and severe headaches.

According to The Independent, the "Glad You Came" singer passed away in March 2022, without creating a will after a short battle with cancer. Soon after her husband's passing, Kelsey Parker released a statement announcing the news. She said:

"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side. Our hearts are broken. Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence. We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children."

According to Sky News, Kelsey Parker later launched a GoFundMe Page to keep Tom Parker's legacy alive, stating that the proceeds would go to suitable causes. She wrote:

"We simply couldn't have got through the last two years without the help and support we have received, and if we can offer it back to others, that would be the best way to honour Tom, and make our two children - Aurelia and Bodhi - proud."

After Tom Parker died in 2022, Kelsey Parker began a relationship with Will Lindsay, with whom she was expecting her third child. But on Sunday, she took to Instagram to announce the tragic news that her son, whom she had named Phoenix Kelsey-Parker, was "born sleeping." She wrote:

"Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved 🐦‍🔥🤍🕊️. For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved."

At the time of his diagnosis, Tom Parker had performed at the Royal Albert Hall with his bandmates from The Wanted to raise money for brain cancer research.
