Former assistant prop master for Doctor Odyssey, Tyler Patton, has been accused of s*xual harassment in a recent lawsuit.
Three former crew members of ABC’s medical drama TV series sued Disney and 20th Century for s*xual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and more. In their complaint, the plaintiffs leveled serious allegations against Patton, who has not been named as one of the defendants. According to Deadline, the suit alleges,
“From the start of their employment, Tyler Patton engaged in a campaign of s*xual harassment against Plaintiffs. Tyler Patton would constantly bombard Plaintiffs with s*xual jokes, innuendos, comments, s*xual gestures and images, and unwanted touching including…”
Per IMDb, Patton is a production designer and actor born in Los Angeles on May 24, 1967. He served as property master on Netflix’s six-episode-long western TV miniseries American Primeval. Patton has previously worked as a part of the crew on projects like Fight Club, The Chronicles of Riddick, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and many more.
Patton famously worked as prop master and assistant prop master on the Hugh Laurie-starrer, House, while appearing in two episodes as a neurosurgeon. The show also spawned another controversy for Tyler, who was accused of s*xual harassment by another crew member. He, along with Mike Casey and Universal, was also sued in 2011, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Plaintiff Carl Jones alleged that Tyler Patton and Mike Casey called him offensive names, groped his genitals, and harassed him repeatedly until his firing from House in 2010, per THR. The incident and eventual lawsuit were subject to media reporting, which former Doctor Odyssey crew members also highlighted in their filing against Disney.
The prop master/actor is married to Tammie Patton, who was also named in the recent complaint. She is a production designer who worked on the medical drama TV series.
Ex-Doctor Odyssey crew alleged that Defendants and Tammie were aware of Tyler Patton's “House” lawsuit

Three plaintiffs of the recent case against Disney and 20th Century mentioned getting hired in late spring/summer last year. They were a part of Doctor Odyssey Season 1’s props department, where Tammie and Tyler Patton were later brought on board as prop master and assistant prop master.
The suit alleged that the defendants and Tammie had prior knowledge of s*xual harassment allegations against Patton. The complaint states (via Deadline),
“Defendants and Tammie Patton knew that Tyler Patton was accused of s*xual harassment, intoxication, and engaging in s*x on set when he was a supervisor in the Props Department for the Fox television series “House” and knew a lawsuit asserting such allegations had been filed against Tyler Patton and others including the producer…”
The plaintiffs further alleged (via Deadline),
“The Props Department under Tammie Patton and Tyler Patton was an unlawful den of s*xual harassment and retaliation. Tyler Patton and his male buddies subjected Plaintiffs to an unchecked campaign of s*xual harassment for months.”
The complaint recounted the alleged incidents of s*xual misconduct and inappropriate behavior by Patton. The suit claimed that a complaint was made against the assistant prop master at the HR department. It was allegedly followed by Tammie Patton’s retaliatory behavior, Tyler’s termination, and the hiring of a replacement, Don Bracken.
The plaintiffs have also accused the defendants of wrongfully terminating and blacklisting them following their complaints. The suit alleged that the production companies “took the ’easy’ way out” and “laid off” props department employees and replaced them almost immediately. The complaint suggested that (via Deadline),
“Clearly, no “lay off” had occurred. Instead, Defendants wiped the Prop Department’s slate clean to avoid having to deal with any remaining employee-relations issues tied to Tyler Patton’s and Tammie Patton’s misconduct.”
The lawsuit recounted one alleged incident blacklisting a plaintiff following the termination and claimed (via Deadline),
“One Plaintiff was recently told by a long-time colleague and Prop Master that he wanted her on a new project that involved the Defendants. However, Defendants refused to allow this Plaintiff to work on their projects as a result of Plaintiffs’ complaints at Doctor Odessey.”
According to IMDb, Tammie Patton served as Doctor Odyssey’s prop master for seven episodes. Season 1 had 18 episodes, with the finale airing on May 15, 2025. Amidst the new lawsuit and conclusion of the first season, the medical drama TV series has yet to be renewed by Disney.
