American actress Justine Lupe, who starred in the Netflix original series Nobody Wants This, is opening up about her co star, Kristen Bell, and how she thinks of her as a sister.

Lupe, 36, welcomed her daughter Ellis in August 2024 with husband Tyson Mason.

Justine Lupe has previously starred in the highly rated and critically acclaimed HBO original TV series Succession. Discussing her friendship with Bell in detail during an exclusive interview with E! News, Lupe opened up to Will Marfuggi about how she adores the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star. She said,

"She's really great at sharing tips and little secrets about parenting and the joy of parenting. She's just awesome. She's just an endless well of knowledge."

While talking about a recent outing with the Veronica Mars star, who shares two daughters with the Hit and Run actor, Dax Shepard, Lupe said:

"We were hanging out with both of our kids the other day. And she literally sat at the bookshelf and just pulled out books and was like, 'This one's great, and this one's great, and this one's really great for teaching them about feminism and this one's really good for environmentalism.'"

Following Justine Lupe's role in the Netflix series, her fans and netizens are curious to know more about Tyson Mason. According to People Magazine, Mason has worked in both films and television. He is also an artist who has interests in portraits and sketches. Not to mention, Tyson Mason has also worked in the art department of multiple TV shows and movies, including the reality TV series Warren the Ape and Joseph Kahn's 2011 horror-comedy film Detention.

While Justine Lupe and Mason mostly keep their relationship away from public attention, Lupe, from time to time, posts pictures of them on her Instagram. The couple got married on February 18, 2025.

During her conversation with Will Marfuggi, Justine Lupe also revealed that she got to learn a lot about motherhood from Kristen Bell. As she talked about how they bonded, she shared a few anecdotes. Lupe said:

"She's also really fun to talk to about the things that are joyful and gleeful about having a kid. We just were talking about how much I love when my daughter will look at me right in the eye and then just fart with abandon and not acknowledge the fact that she just ripped ass right in front of me. We were just talking about that just recently."

Lupe added:

"Kristen just does an incredible job of really caring about the work, really caring about making something great. And also respecting that the crew has lives and they need to get home to their kids."

"She cares a lot about her family. And that we all have a sane way of doing it that's very efficient and careful, but also taking care of our livelihoods."
