Zoe Saldaña, who is married to Marco Perego recently opened up about how difficult it was working with her husband on a project back in 2019. Perego is an artist and producer, best known for his work on "The Absence of Eden." According to People Magazine, Saldaña revealed this information in an interview with Beyond The Noise, which was published last week. In the interview, she said:
"Working together on that music video was extremely challenging."
Zoe Saldaña and Marco Perego were first linked back in May 2013, when they were spotted attending the afterparty event for Saldaña's movie Star Trek Into the Darkness. Just a few months later, in September, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony and took each other's last name after marriage. According to Elle Magazine, they welcomed twin sons in November 2014, followed by their third child, a son, in December 2016.

In her recent interview with Beyond The Noise, Zoe Saldaña explained that she had worked with her husband, Marco Perego, on the music video for Alicia Keys' song "Show Me Love." According to People Magazine, the couple had both appeared in the music video and engaged in a modern dance routine. In the interview, Zoe Saldaña added working on the project made them realize how their working approaches differ. She said:
"Because it was the first time I realized his approach to working, and [he realized mine]."
She further added:
“We’ve figured out so many ways of how to be together. We work together at life. We work together with our family. Now, we work together in art.”
According to Elle Magazine, Marco Perego, or Marco Perego-Saldaña, is an Italian artist, who moved to the US in his twenties and rose to prominence when producer Gila Moratti bought his painting. His paintings eventually went on to feature in several prestigious galleries like the Royal Arts Academy in London and Art Basel in Switzerland, among others. In a 2007 interview with The New York Observer, he described his early struggles, saying:
"I was living [in] Spanish Harlem without money, and I was living on 104th Street. One day what happened was, I come to her and I say, ‘Listen, look at my work, tell me what you think. If it is a joke, I will try to find something else."
Although, he keeps a low prolife, he is often seen supporting Zoe at her movie premieres and was also present when she recieved a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in May 2018.
During the interview, the Oscar-nominated actress further recalled a tense moment the couple had expirienced while rehearsing for the music video. She said:
"He was like, ‘I don’t like the way you’re talking to me when we’re rehearsing..I would tell him, ‘I keep telling you to pick me up! You don’t want me to make an excuse. I don’t want you to make an excuse. That’s why we practice. So can you please remember what we f*cking just did”
Zoe Saldaña is currently gearing up for the release of her much-anticipated new film, "Avatar: Fire and Ash" which is set to release at the end of this year, on December 19.
