50 Cent seems unhappy with Jim Jones and others. On the December 11 episode of the Let’s Rap About It podcast, Jim Jones shared his thoughts about making documentaries. At one point during the conversation, host Dave East read out a question about whether it was acceptable to create a documentary about someone without their approval. Co-host Maino compared the situation to releasing one’s intimate video. Jim Jones went on to say:“You wanted to be a dope documentary showing who you are what you what you've done everything you've accomplished. Like a documentary is a big thing. Like you don't want nobody doing a documentary about some like trying to just make your whole character look weak. Like that's petty behavior.”Jones also said:“It’s really not a documentary. It’s more like a mockumentary.”However, 50 Cent reshared the clip on Instagram and captioned it:“I understand Diddy was your hero, stay down with him. I don’t care if you let him play with ya b*tt, then act like you don’t remember.”In another Instagram post, 50 Cent shared an AI overview of the meaning of “squatters,” photos of all four hosts of the Let’s Rap About It podcast, a headline of Jim Jones selling away his property in Jersey, and Jones’s selfies. The carousel was captioned:“These guys are squatters, they owe 250,000 k for the space they are filming their podcast. These bums are trying to win best dressed award and can’t pay their bills. @50centaction.”How did Maino respond to 50 Cent?On December 16, Maino shared a photo of 50 Cent in which he was portrayed as a woman. The post also included a usual photo of Cent. Maino captioned it:“Meet Killer Curly Ladies & Gentlemen…He Helped Me Get My Record Deal Before So Imma Always Be Grateful, So It’s Gone Hurt Me To Drag This Ni**a To H*ll! F*ck Is The Problem Curtis? What Has Your G Unit G- String In a Bunch Ni**a? Is It The B*tch Or The Diabetes? But Let’s Rap About It!!!”This was followed by another post from 50 Cent, who was seen posing on a building’s rooftop with NYC’s skyline view in the background. He wrote:“I didn’t have this on my list of things to do, but if you insist I’ll make time. I’m working on buying the space where you film, and 50 percent of your podcast you know I don’t @50centaction.” View this post on Instagram Instagram PostNow, Maino also addressed the situation with 50 Cent during his appearance on the Way Up With Angela Yee podcast. When Angela asked if the podcast hosts owed $250,000 in rent, Maino said he knew nothing about it. Moreover, he clarified that their comments on the podcast were not directed towards Cent. He said:“No, we not making our podcast…we don't talk about people. We take things and internalize it. It was a general conversation about do people have the actual right to make a documentary about you and how would you feel if it was you?”Maino reiterated that their podcast was not about attacking others. It was about themselves. Despite that, everyone was backlashing at them.
