Armani White was attested on Sunday evening after he was allegedly spotted filming on a highway without permission. According to TMZ, the rapper was seen filming alongside his team on the busy Kentucky Highway by passerbys, after which the authorities were called to the scene. He was subsequently charged with disorderly conduct, and for stopping traffic on the limited-access highway.

Armani White rose to fame in 2022 following the release of his hit single "Billie Eilish," which peaked at No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. According to Hot New Hip Hop, White, who is currently performing with Grammy-winning artist T-Pain on his tour titled "T-Pain: Celebrating 20 Years of T-Pain" had performed in Kentucky, a day earlier, on October 11.

More about the incident that lead to Armani White's arrest

Armani White, whose real name is Enoch Armani Tolbert, was arrested after multiple people reported seeing him jumping on a concrete barrier on the busy interstate 75. According to TMZ, the "Goated" singer was allegedly filming a dance sequence for a music video on Sunday, October, 12.

Soon after, Armani White was arrested and booked into the Laurel County Correctional Center by authorities. In the pictures obtained by the outlet, the singer, who has since been released, is seen smiling while posing for his mugshot.

This is not the first time White has been arrested. According to Swid Life, he and his brother were arrested in 2020 in connection with a house fire. The pair were initially charged with arson and turned themselves to authorities, but the charges were later dropped. This incident would later inspire him to create his 2021 extended play, "Things We Lost In The Fire." Speaking about the incident, he said:

"We had an accidental house fire in Philly, and the city charged us with arson. So we had to turn ourselves in, go before a judge to prove our innocence, and get the charges dropped. But sitting in that cell, I realized how much fire had taken away from me in my life. And I conceptualized these songs around that idea of loss. I got the title from Black Thought’s Funk Flex Freestyle. He was supposed to be a part of the project, but the weekend I had to turn it in, he was at Obama’s birthday party [laughs.]"

Armani White, who is next set to perform alongside T-Pain in Clearwater, Florida, has not yet released a statement addressing the recent charges.
