Ashley Greene's latest movie has just dropped, with the actress recently giving viewers insight into shooting a horror movie postpartum.

Green gave birth to her daughter, Kinsley Rainn Khoury, in September 2022. She shares her daughter with her husband, Paul Khoury. The actress broke the news on Instagram.

As per an article by US Weekly, Greene recently gave insights to her fans about the difficulties she faced shooting her first movie postpartum and mentioned that it wasn't an easy thing to do. Greene told the publication that this was her longest break before returning to the set. She said:

"This [movie] was tough for me because it was my first movie post having my little girl, and I think we were six months in, and so I’d been on set for the longest that I’d ever been on set.”

She further elaborated about the challenges that she faced and that her hormones were fluctuating. Greene mentioned that it was challenging for her to handle two things when she went home.

“I was breast-feeding, and so I was pumping on set and your hormones are going everywhere. And then I was, like, having to go home to this little angel and try to separate these two things. It really was challenging for me.”

Greene plays the role of Cynthia, a mother who is desperate to save her daughter in the horror movie It Feeds.

All we know about Ashley Greene's latest movie, It Feeds

Directed and written by Chad Archibald, It Feeds is a horror movie which is released on April 18, 2025. The film stars Ashley Greene, Shawn Ashmore, Ellie O'Brien, Eadie Murphy, and other big names.

As per IMDb, the plot of the movie revolves around a young girl named Riley who claims that an entity is feeding on her and storms into their home psychiatry office. Jordan and her clairvoyant mother, Cynthia, step in to save her daughter before the entity takes complete control of her.

As per US Weekly, Greene used the qualities of her character to guide her through the film's shoot as Cynthia, a character which hard for her to play as an actress.

"Thankfully, I think, with Cynthia, you can always find stuff that you can use to your advantage also vs. letting it work against you,” Greene told US Weekly. “And so I said, ‘This is really hard for me, but I’m gonna find a way through it and I’m gonna use this, these moments when I’m on set.’ It’s one of the things I’m most proud of coming out of this project.”

The publication also mentions one of the film's themes being around fighting the deepest traumas. Director Chad Archibald reportedly wrote the story of the movie when both his parents were diagnosed with cancer. As Greene has been quite vocal about her struggles with anxiety and sadness, the actress immediately understood the layers of the movie's script and believed that she could deliver a power-packed performance.

“When you’re ready, I think you have to look inside of yourself and you have to face your demons and you have to be able to allow yourself to have the strength to overcome things that have happened to you, not because of you,” Greene told US Weekly. “I loved that throughout the course of the film.”

Ashmore also used his personal experience to shape the role of Randall, the father of Riley who has an extreme approach for saving his daughter.
