View this post on Instagram Instagram PostIn the video, Chris Daughtry spoke:"S**t is getting just unbelievably nuts out there with the fake accounts, the fake news, the fake headlines. It's insane. The amount of times I see, 'Hey, is this real?'"The "What About Now" crooner showed a set of AI-generated images of himself with a black eye from fighting with his wife, as well as fake tour posters."So, if you're not seeing news being posted on our official page or my page — or at least being corroborated by reposting something from another source — then it's not real. It's clearly AI y'all. I mean, some of this stuff is so... ridiculous that I'm baffled that people would ask if this was real."Further down the clip, Chris Daughtry urged his followers to be vigilant and not engage with bogus accounts, the same ones he had previously attempted to shut down."Stop falling for this bulls**t. Y'all it affects me on a deep level when things are said that aren't true about me or my family and then to have it constantly being sent to me by people, it's too much y'all."Chris Daughtry and Deanna Daughtry have been married for 25 years. They tied the knot in 2000, six years before Chris even competed on the fifth season of American Idol.Chris Daughtry speaks out against AI because "it's getting out of hand"Meanwhile, in his Nov. 17 interview with Rolling Stone, Chris Daughtry echoed the above-mentioned sentiments, saying:"He was like, 'You don’t want to be feeding this machine or drawing more attention to it.' And I was like, 'F**k that.' I want everyone to know this is absolute bulls**t, and I will shout it from the mountain tops. And that was why I recorded the video. It’s getting out of hand." I love that one because, first of all, it doesn’t even look like me. Look at it!"This is not the first time the award-winning singer has slammed artificial intelligence. In 2023, he unveiled "Artificial," a track lambasting the use of AI. He sings:"Plug into the new you / Don’t resist ’cause it’s no use, it’s no use / It’s digital warfare / The death of who we are is right here."
