Elon Musk is chiming in on the chorus to boycott Netflix's Dead End: Paranormal Park.
The Tesla CEO took to his X platform to retweet a clip from the show, where a character comes out as transgender to his friend. The video, shared by Lips of TikTok, was accompanied by the following caption:
"OMG. Dead End Paranormal Park, a show on Netflix, is pushing pro-transgender on CHILDREN. This show is advertised for 7-YEAR-OLDS"
In his tweet, Musk wrote:
"This is not ok."
The drama between Elon Musk, the creator of Dead End: Paranormal Park, and Netflix explored:
Elon Musk also doubled down on his anti-Netflix rhetoric in a follow-up post. In it, X user @DogeDesigner shared a photo implying that Netflix was pushing a "transgender woke agenda" to "your kids" under the guise of the Trojan Horse. The billionaire weighed in with the following comment:
"Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids."
Musk's claims come amid mounting backlash against the animated show, created by Glatonbury-born Hamish Steele. In the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination on September 10, he retweeted Keir Starmer's post on X mourning his demise with a scathing comment:
"Why the fu** are you even commenting on this di**head? You sympathy for any of the families being slaughtered by your weapons but a random nazi gets shot and it's a public statement. You're such a fu**ing evil sh*t."
He has since acknowledged Elon Musk's comments about his show on BlueSky:
"It is genuinely funny that Elon Musk has now seen a clip from Dead End. He's on the list with people I know for a fact have watched it along with Ben Shapiro and Eric Adams."
As for the massive backlash, Steele said that he's doing "ok" and found the situation amusing, though he did express gratitude for all those who reached out.
"But the extremely nasty weird homophonic and antisemitic emails have started rolling in and it is getting a little scary so I apologise if I take longer to respond to stuff," he penned.
In another post on the platform, he also reiterated that he never "celebrated" Charlie Kirk's assassination. However, he has yet to acknowledge Musk's claims that his show is pushing "woke agenda" on its viewers and on children.
Dead End: Paranormal Park was canceled in January 2023 after two seasons. Hence, the show will not be releasing any new episodes in the future.
