Jessica Biel was afraid of Beverley Mitchell because she believed she "pushed her buttons" and the latter was "tough."

Jessica Biel and Beverley Mitchell played sisters in the 1998 drama 7th Heaven, which featured a family with seven children. Biel, during an appearance on Catching Up With The Camdens podcast, said that she was "secretly a little afraid of Beverley" on the sets of the series.

While speaking to InStyle in an exclusive interview published on May 19, Jessica described the sisterly bond between the two actresses.

"I say this with all the love in the world - because I love her - she was tough, man. I pushed her buttons. It was such a sisterly relationship. I think I did it because I looked up to her and I loved her. We got under each other's skin in the best way possible."

Biel further explained that she loved the sibling camaraderie of the series,

"What I remember most, probably, is the camaraderie of all the kids. The ability to have that longevity and stamina, that's a huge part of what I can do kind of easily, because it's what I did ever since I was little."

Is Jessica Biel executive producing a 7th Heaven reboot?

A reboot of 7th Heaven, with executive producers Anthony Sparks and Jessica Biel, is currently in the works. As per an article by Variety published on May 19, the reboot would focus on representing a diverse family, and the original cast members will not be reprising.

The original series ran for 11 seasons, 10 on The WB and the last on The CW between 1996-2007. The show's legacy was reportedly destroyed when Stephen Collins', who played the role of Eric Camden, audio recordings were released in December 2014. In the audio recordings, Camden admitted to engaging in s*xual misconduct with several underage girls.

Earlier when TMZ asked Catherine Hicks who played Annie in 2017, about a potential revival, Hicks commented, "I mean, we'd have to open with Stephen's coffin."

In 2014, Collins, while speaking to Yahoo Global Anchor Katie Couric in an exclusive interview on ABC News 20/20, denied allegations of being a pedophile while saying,

"I'm absolutely not attracted, physically, or s**ually attracted to children."

While Collins had earlier admitted that there were three victims of his s*xual misconduct, there have not been more victims, and if more come forward with claims, it would not be the truth.
