Karen Grassle, who played the role of Caroline Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie, revealed why she had "limited" interactions. During a recent event at Simi Valley, the 83-year-old actress joined her Little House on the Prairie alum to talk about the earlier days on set.It is no secret that Karen Grassle and Michael Landon, who played Charles Ingalls on the series, did not get along very well. The discord between Grassle and Landon began only in season 2, after the actress asked for a raise, which the actor denied her. She told PEOPLE:"I ran myself into the ground with resentment and anger and hurt feelings and just pure exhaustion."The dispute between the two co-stars worsened over the years. Grassle gave fans a little insight into their relationship in her memoir titled Bright Lights, Prairie Dust: Reflections on Life, Loss, and Love from Little House's Ma. She said that Michael Landon would often mock her on set and make sexist jokes around her.Karen left the show in season 8 and revealed:"I had limited my interactions with fans very much. I really didn't go to many events. I didn't hang out with everybody. I separated myself."It was only after her memoir came out, 40 years later, after the show first aired, that Karen understood that she needed to put herself out there again. The actress said:"I've got to get out there. So I started with social media, and I started going out to these events.
