Why did Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner reunite with Kylie Jenner’s ex Travis Scott?

Kim Kardashian and her mom Kris Jenner reunited with Kylie Jenner's ex, Travis Scott, at a milestone moment for Kim's latest business venture.

As reported by Us Weekly, Kim, 44, was papped with Scott, 34, and her sister Khloé Kardashian, 41, mom Kris, 69, and son Saint, 9, at the recent NikeSKIMS launch event, held at Nike House of Innovation New York on Wednesday, September 24.

The Kardashian stars were all clad in bodysuits from the new collection, while the rapper opted for a gray T-shirt, brown leather jacket, and baggy black jeans. He finished the look with a black beanie and a snakeskin bag. Saint matched his family with an all-black ensemble, including a leather jacket, T-shirt, and jeans. He had pink-frosted tips in his hair.

As reported by E! News,Travis Scott, father of Kylie Jenner's children Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, attended the event solo. He later posed with the Kardashians, two years after ending his six-year on-again-off-again relationship with Kylie.

Us Weekly broke the news of their separation in January 2023:

“Kylie and Travis are off again. They were supposed to spend the holidays together, but she went to Aspen to be with her family and friends up there,” a source told Us. “This has happened so many times before. They’re known to be on again, off again, but always remain friends and great coparents.”

Kylie Jenner has since moved on to Timothée Chalamet, while Travis Scott's current relationship status remains unknown. A source told the outlet in June 2023:

“Even though Kylie and Travis have broken up and gotten back together a number of times, their friends feel like they’re finally done for good. It’s clear they’re both in a different space this time around and are happy to focus on coparenting their kids, rather than also trying to make things work romantically again. Kylie and Travis are handling things really well and they communicate amazingly.”

As for their firstborn, Stormi, Kylie Jenner told Beauty Inc. earlier this month that she hopes her daughter will take over her business, Kylie Cosmetics, one day:

"It’s my dream that my daughter will want to take over Kylie Cosmetics," she said. "I would love for this to be a legacy brand, and I’m working hard every day to set up that future." According to Kylie Jenner, Stormi "loves to play with makeup."
