Sports reporter and host Michelle Beadle posted photos and videos from her recent trip to Croatia. Sharing an Instagram post, she wrote:
“My Croatia Dump is here. (We really should come up with better terminology.) Until next time…Or I get a damn travel show.”
In June 2025, Beadle had to say goodbye to SiriusXM after her radio show, Beadle and Decker, was replaced with another show hosted by Stephen A. Smith. At the time, she shared a post on X, writing:
“And we’d like to thank the callers who made the last couple of days an absolute blast!! Truly. You don’t usually get such love on your way out. Security usually walks ya to the door. You guys rule. 6 hours of how you felt. And you all were heard! Drinks on me…@Decker6”
Michelle Beadle was seemingly upset over the decision to end the show. During one of the final segments, she said she only wanted to be treated with respect. She explained that the only reason they were doing the shows was because they were required to by their contract.
A few days ago, Michelle Beadle posted another video from her Croatia trip on Instagram. She captioned it:
“Hvar- my top spot from Croatia. And don’t worry…more of my top five list to come. Going against the usual 5 down to 1 order and just unloading all at once. The people. The food. The days. The nights. The tiny goggles. It was perfection. And I’m already craving my return.”
What did Michelle Beadle say about Stephen A. Smith in a recent interview?
On June 6, while speaking to Front Office Sports, Michelle Beadle said the situation reminded her that everyone is disliked by someone. Talking about Stephen A. Smith, she explained that when she saw him in a reputable newspaper, she felt she should have expected it.
She said the situation felt gross. She didn’t mind being replaced—because it happens often—but she wished there had been some respect. She admitted she was completely caught off guard and felt embarrassed. Meanwhile, sharing her thoughts about Smith, Michelle Beadle said:
“I don’t respect him. I don’t respect his work. He doesn’t like me. This goes back to the Ray Rice stuff. He made some really piggish comments on the air. I responded; he got suspended for like two weeks. I think that was sort of the beginning of the end for anything.”
The sports host added:
“I just don’t respect him. I think he gets things wrong all the time. I’m not talking about opinions; those can never be wrong. But factually, when you spread yourself so thin, it’s hard to be right. Not a fan.”
However, she felt the show was therapeutic for her for two years. On July 25, 2014, Michelle Beadle shared a post on Twitter (now X), writing that she was made to watch that morning’s episode of First Take. Afterward, she joked that she felt like she would never feel clean again and realized she could easily bring trouble onto herself.
