Actor Jamie Foxx is weighing in on the much-publicized s*x crime trial of music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs. Combs, who is facing multiple charges related to s*x trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in pr*stitution, was called out by Foxx onstage during the latter’s Emmy awards campaign in Los Angeles’ Comedy Store.

On May 29, Foxx took the stage at the Comedy Store, and according to a video by Urban Hollywood 411, while referring to the information revealed in Diddy’s ongoing trial, he said,

“Why you so nasty, Diddy?”

Foxx was speaking about revelations in the Diddy case which impacted the entire black community. According to Variety, Foxx said,

“I don’t know if he’s going to jail but he is a nasty m*****f****r…Am I right? Specially for us…White people, like, ‘It’s cool,’ but for Black people, like, ‘that was our hero.’ All that goddamn baby oil, boy!”

Jamie Foxx was referring to the fact that during Diddy’s trial, prosecutors revealed that federal agents’ raid of Combs’ Florida residence led to the discovery of an abundant quantity of baby oil bottles, in addition to dr*gs and weapons, as per the New York Times. The baby oil was allegedly used during ‘freak-offs,’ which were s*x parties conducted by the music executive.

Referring to one of Diddy’s catchphrases, ‘Take that,’ Foxx, during his Comedy Store appearance said,

“‘Take that, take that.’ That makes you listen to that differently now, ‘take that, take that.’ What were we thinking?”

Continuing his rant against Diddy, Foxx said according to Variety,

“For the Black people here, you know how that hurts us. That was our whole culture. Now it’s all about the baby oil.”

Jamie Foxx on a conspiracy theory involving him and Diddy

This was not the first time that Jamie Foxx referred to Diddy publicly in recent times. Back in 2023, Foxx suffered a health episode and was hospitalized for an extended period of time. At the time, it was only revealed that the comedian had suffered a “medical complication,” according to CNN.

Foxx’s extended stay in the hospital prompted conspiracy theories in the media that his condition was related to Diddy. Two insiders, including a celebrity security guard, gave on-screen interviews fueling rumors that Diddy had caused Foxx’s hospitalization, as per Forbes.

Jamie Foxx finally shut the rumors down when his Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was ... began streaming. The Guardian reported that Foxx recounted during the show that he began suffering from headaches, and later on lost consciousness. His sister, who was present with him was told by doctors that Foxx had a brain bleed that had led to a stroke, noted The Guardian.

During the show, Foxx also poked fun at the conspiracy theory involving him and Diddy, who is also known by the nickname, ‘Puffy’. He recalled reading conspiracy theories online, and according to Complex, Foxx said,

“They Men in Black-ed me, and I'm f***ed up, and this isn't funny, but I snuck in my phone because I didn't know what the outside world was saying and I couldn't get my mind around the fact that I had a stroke. I'm in perfect f***ing shape. [I see things like,] 'Puffy tried to kill me.' No, Puffy didn't try to kill me.”

During the special, Jamie Foxx also joked that he saw a tunnel while unconscious, and saw Diddy at the end of it.
