More about Sonja Morgan's Tucci incident

As per news outlets, Sonja Morgan reportedly dined at Tucci in New York City's Noho neighborhood on May 10, but didn't pay for her $1,000 meal, claiming that she believed it to be on the house.

A source while speaking to Page Six mentioned:

"She was like, 'I don't pay; people pay me (to go to their restaurants).' She was absolutely entitled and caused a scene about not paying."

However, the restaurant while speaking to People confirmed that they had not agreed to a complimentary dinner:

"I'd like to clarify that there was no agreement for a complimentary dinner. (Morgan's) assumption otherwise shows poor judgement, which is consistent with her past behavior of not tipping our servers."

Tucci also highlighted the restaurant industry's "high food costs and rent" and mentioned that they'll "continue supporting their staff." The restaurant also mentioned that Sonja is "no longer welcome at Tucci."

Sonja Morgan, while speaking to Page Six, later mentioned that there was a "clear miscommunication" and that she was dining at the restaurant "in exchange for a promotional post." The reality star also mentioned that she "offered to pay and tip" the restaurant after they called her on May 12.
