Aimee Lou Wood’s star has truly skyrocketed thanks to her appearance on The White Lotus season 3, and the drama that surrounded its production. In a recent conversation with People Magazine, Aimee Lou and co-star Patrick Schwarzenegger spoke about their recent partnership with Venmo. Wood also admitted that even her team has suggested that she step up her fashion game:

“I think I need to go and treat myself more. My agent said this to me the other day. [My agent] was like, ‘Why are you wearing these clothes?’ I came in and I looked so scruffy, and she was like, ‘Maybe you should just go and have a shopping spree.'”

Aimee Lou Wood then continued to build on the thought, saying she is:

“Looking forward to maybe a shopping spree soon, because it is really cool when you can do that.”

The White Lotus standout seems like she’s headed for some much-needed retail therapy.

Aimee Lou Wood at a glance

In the same interview with People Magazine, Aimee Lou Wood admitted to a specific financial vice she has when it comes to spending, and it sounds rather frivolous at first glance. Nonetheless, the actress shared that she spends "so much money on cute things that are just quite pointless," like, for example, "tiny miniature toy mice that I think are sweet."

Aimee Lou Wood went on to share that the first big splurge item she purchased from an acting paycheck was when she purchased an Apple MacBook:

"I remember that being a moment," she said.

Almost as if on cue, her White Lotus co-star interjected and painted a wonderful picture of the humble actress’ actual intentions, insinuating she would prefer to spend the money treating her friends:

"She spends or offers to spend is that she just took Abby [Champion] and I out for a very nice dinner when we were out in London and she bought it. She did the old, I'm going to the bathroom trick and paid for the bill."

Patrick continued:

"That's I would say something that I like to do as well. I’m not a big item person, but I do love experiences and I do love going out to great meals. I love going with people, so I always, that's where I splurge, is just I like to pick up the bill and take people out to dinners or to activity experiences."

Aimee Lou has tons of talent and an even bigger heart. Fans will be able to catch her in Toxic Town, which is currently streaming on Netflix, as well as Film Club later in the year, which is an upcoming BBC Three television series.
