Friends alum Lisa Kudrow wouldn't be joining The White Lotus. Kudrow, during an appearance on Variety's Actors on Actors series, reflected on her career and, while speaking to Parker Posey and revealed why she wouldn't join the famed series.

Parker Posey plays the role of Victoria Ratliff on season 3 of the show, and asked Lisa if she would be joining the next season, to which Kudrow responded, saying,

"Work with Mike White? Yes. That's a quick answer. I love Mike White."

When Posey chimed in, saying,

"Lisa, you should be in season 4 (of the White Lotus.) You need to be a part. If there's a big enough TikTok campaign, then it'll happen."

Kudrow then responded, saying that casting doesn't work like that and highlighted that while she loves the creator's work, she might not be his "cup of tea." She also added that given the nature of the series, she's not sure if she'd be willing to be a part of it,

"And I might not be (White's) cup of tea, which is allowed to happen too. But I do get nervous about inhabiting things that are too dark. I try to avoid that."

The White Lotus, which revolves around the lives of the guests staying at the prestigious White Lotus hotel across different tourist destinations, has been considered a dark series, as it explores the darker side of human nature and wealth.
