Charlie Cox reveals if he will return as Daredevil in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Charlie Cox recently appeared on the Phase Hero podcast where he revealed if he will appear as Daredevil in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. When asked about the rumors of him giving a cameo in the film, he said:

“Well, I don’t read anything, so I don’t know. I know that they all think I’m in Spider-Man because I’m filming something in London, which I’m not. I’m not in Spider-Man…I’m just concentrating on DD right now.”

The film's shooting began in August in Scotland. Recently, Tom Holland suffered an injury due to which the shootin was halted. Last month, he attended the gala event for The Brothers Trust where he revealed that he is feeling better:

"I’m sorry I had to leave early but I’m feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton whose directorial credits include MCU's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. It is written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers while Kevin Fiege and Amy Pascal are the producers.

The film's cast members include:

  • Tom Holland as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man
  • Zendaya as Michelle Jones-Watson aka MJ
  • Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds
  • Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln aka Tombstone
  • Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle aka Punisher
  • Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner aka Hulk
  • Michael Mando as Mac Gargan aka Scorpion
  • Liza Colón-Zayas
  • Sadie Sink
  • Tramell Tillman

Holland has appeared as the titular web slinger in three Spider-Man films in the entire MCU. The narrative of Spider-Man: Brand New Day will pick from the last film where Peter let Doctor Strange erase his identity from everyone's memory.
