Hollywood has been trying to cope with the ever-changing technology around us.

Lately, the technology of artificial intelligence has been evolving at a rapid pace. The emergence of chatbots like ChatGPT and software that creates moving images with a command has had a ripple effect on the entertainment business.

Now, there's also been buzz that Hollywood might get its first AI-generated actress. Let's explore the details.

Is Hollywood going to get its first AI-generated actress?

Hollywood is eyeing to embrace artificial intelligence by coming up with its first AI actress. Deadline has reported that talent agencies are about to sign their first AI actress named Tilly Norwood.

This news came from Eline Van der Velden, a comedian-actor, who spoke at the recently held Zurich International Film Festival. She is the owner of Xicoia, which is an AI talent studio, and stated that several talent agents are in touch with her.

They are keen to sign their AI actress Tilly Norward, who is their company's maiden creation. This news has dropped just a few days after the announcement of Particle6 offshoot Xicoia, which is a studio driven by artificial intelligence focused on digital stars.

As per Screen Rant, she said:

"We were in a lot of boardrooms around February time, and everyone was like, 'No, this is nothing. It's not going to happen.' Then, by May, people were like, 'We need to do something with you guys.' When we first launched Tilly, people were like, 'What's that?', and now we're going to be announcing which agency is going to be representing her in the next few months."

Tilly Norwood also has her own website dedicated to explaining who she is. The website mentions her social media links like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. It says that the performer is based in London. The website also includes a purely AI-generated video of her. Van der Velden has revealed that Hollywood's first AI actress was made with ten AI tools, including ChatGPT.

Van der Velden has also stated that AI will not replace the creativity of human beings.

"At Particle6, we believe AI won't replace human creativity - it will amplify it. The future of entertainment isn't human or synthetic. It's both."

This move is expected to have ripple effects in Hollywood.
