Singer Trey Songz has made headlines once again. At the same time, music artist Winter Blanco shared her thoughts about him. According to HotNewHipHop, Blanco had previously claimed that she was physically assaulted by the Slow Motion singer, an incident that goes back to 2018. During her appearance on a podcast in 2024, she said:“He put his hands on me and I never talked about it. This is the first time I’ve ever talked about this publicly, I really don’t give a f*ck anymore. He put his hands on me, scared the f*ck out of me and I never said anything.”At the time, Blanco said that a woman came out with her allegations against Songz in 2020, and she reached out to her through the latter's lawyer. Meanwhile, in a video posted by The Neighborhood Talk on Instagram, Blanco said that she was waiting for the Netflix documentary to come out. She said:“Trey Songz situation is so disheartening to me. Why does it take so many people for y’all to believe women? Why do y'all hate women so bad that everybody got to be lying on this man? Nobody is lying on this man. If anything, more people are too afraid to come forward about this man. According to CBS New York, he was arraigned at a Manhattan Federal Court, where he faced six charges. He allegedly damaged the DJ equipment, sofas, and other items. His next court appearance date is February 18, 2026. On December 4, he allegedly hit a nightclub employee in Times Square.What did Trey Songz say after the lounge incident?According to The New York Post, Trey Songz said he was the sufferer at the Mira Mediterranean & Hookah Lounge. As seen in video clips from the incident day, he said:“I didn’t touch anybody.”As he was being taken into the police car, he told the cop:“Hey, bro, tell them I didn’t do nothing to nobody. didn’t do nothing to nobody. They assaulted me. Miss, they assaulted me.”In 2020, the singer shared his thoughts about what it means to be a celebrity. He said he was always passionate about activism. He said that despite having fans from all races and colors, it was Black people who made him famous. Trey Songz claimed:“As a black man no matter if you've achieved a certain level of success or notoriety and celebrity, we've all experienced racism discrimination whether it be right in your face or whether it be subliminal, whether you know somebody thinks you don't you can't afford to be somewhere, whether someone thinks you're not supposed to be sitting where you sitting, whether someone looks at you a certain way because you're in a certain place, whether you've been pulled over just because you're in a certain neighborhood.”Trey Songz said that these were some of the instances that black men have faced.
