Gina Huynh grabs attention again, this time for showing support for her ex-boyfriend, Sean "Diddy" Combs. Despite being a victim, Gina Huynh has offered support for the music mogul both, in court and online. Reacting to this, a user on the internet wrote:

"Wisdom chases her, but she is much faster"

Huynh, identified as "Victim-3" in Combs' 2024 federal indictment, recently wrote to Judge Arun Aubramanian requesting him to give Combs bail and praising him as "energy of love, patience and gentleness."

She wrote:

“I am writing because I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community. This is his first criminal case. Throughout the investigation and proceedings he has been cooperative, respectful and compliant. He has substantial ties to his family and community, including children who depend on him for emotional and financial support."

She continued:

"Granting him bond would allow him to continue caring for his family and fulfilling his responsibilities while still subject to the Court’s supervision.”

She added that though in the relationship, he “was not always perfect” but that “he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future.”

Gina, who hasn't uploaded on Instagram since March, shared posts on Instagram. One being a post on her stories, a photo of "LOVE" written on a mirror using glittery lipstick.

She even took to Threads to support him by sharing messages for Combs to support him. One of her posts on Instagram on August 4, 2025, read:

"FreeDiddy🖤"

Followed by:

"I've never been the type of person to follow crowds & trends. I'm not a follower. You sheeps act like I can't forgive a man I once loved… I’m not gonna kick him while he's down cause yall want me to. Ima always have his back."

Following this, more users chimed in:

A user highlighted, Huynh's support for Combs was ironic, as she had earlier claimed that Combs had physically abused her:

"He literally kicked her while she was down."

Abuse allegations from Gina Huynh

Gina Huynh dated Diddy from 2014 to 2019, which was kept a secret until she posted a PDA post on Instagram.

Gina Huynh's unexpected support is especially surprising considering her personal past with Combs. She has previously accused him of ongoing mental and physical abuse between 2014 and 2019. In a 2019 interview on Unwine With Tasha K, she described their relationship as violent and controlling.

According to Gina Huynh, during an argument, Diddy stomped on her stomach. She claimed that he had tossed a high heel at her, causing her nose to bleed. In 2014, Diddy allegedly offered her $50,000 to abort her pregnancy, and she also said that she was continuously compared to Cassie Ventura, who was Diddy's girlfriend at the time.

She told Tasha K:

“He would always compare me to [ex-girlfriend] Cassie [Ventura] and tell me that I’m the bad one, she’s a good one. He took one of my heels and tried to throw it at me. He, like, mushed my face, like, really hard and made my nose bleed.”

She added:

"Diddy once stomped on my stomach, like, really hard,” adding, “I couldn’t breathe, but he kept hitting me. I was, like, pleading to him, ‘Can you just stop? I can’t breathe.’”

Huynh was originally set to testify as "Victim-3" in Combs' trial earlier this year. Prosecutor Maurene Comey told the court that Huynh had “very personal and explosive details” to offer, but they lost contact with her attorney and that Huynh “may not show up.”

Marc Agnifilo, Diddy's lawyer, said her absence was strategic, stating:

"They are the United States of America. They can get Gina into this courtroom if that is what they want to do. They are choosing not to.”

In a statement to The New York Times.

Diddy was found not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, but was acquitted on three of five charges.
