However, the White House has continued to refute the speculation, and the President’s physician, Captain Sean Barbabella, has repeatedly said that Trump remains in “excellent health.”However, the POTUS has struggled to stay awake during several press briefings and public occasions since January 2025, despite continuing to mock his predecessor Joe Biden as “Sleepy Joe.”According to The Daily Beast, he was photographed allegedly dozing off roughly two dozen times, including at Cabinet meetings, White House conferences, the 9/11 memorial at the Pentagon, Senator Lindsey Graham’s funeral, and most recently during an Oval Office meeting about a $15 billion steel plant project in eastern Iowa in partnership with Mesabi Metallics.During the same event, the U.S. President reportedly “sounded” exhausted while answering questions and allegedly “slurred” his speech, according to The New Republic. He has previously slurred other speeches, and experts have suggested it may indicate cognitive decline.Just last week, the U.S. President went viral after a video showed him standing in a knock-kneed manner following his luncheon with AI executives at the White House. Captain Barbabella claimed the POTUS was using a common cream for preventive skin treatment. Both his arms have also been seen with heavy bruises, and makeup has been deployed to keep them covered up. For instance, several U.S. media outlets reported that he used concealer on his bruised hand before welcoming Chinese President Xi Jinping last month during a state dinner at the White House. The POTUS also wore black gloves when he welcomed Xi at Joint Base Andrews the day before and appeared to flinch during a military flyover show.Additionally, Trump’s hands also looked swollen and discolored, while his ankles repeatedly appeared to be bulging excessively. In late 2025, it was reported that the U.S. President underwent a “preventive” MRI on his abdomen and heart. However, recently he called it a CT scan.If that isn’t all, the POTUS is reported to take 325 mg of aspirin daily to thin out his blood, as he reportedly doesn’t want “thick blood,” according to The Daily Beast. The White House representatives have continued to claim that bruises on his hands were a result of frequent handshaking and aspirin consumption.
