Rapper 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was a recent guest on Adin Ross’ stream.

During the stream, the rapper shared his advice for the young artists who wished to get signed to labels. He said there were many young people in the chat who had questions about how they can get signed to record labels like Columbia, Interscope, and others. He advised:

“These people will sign you. You have to play the puppet role, right and that’s why I am so cancel because they hate when I say this. You go, you sign your life away, right? You make most of your money with your advance, but once you blow that right, whether you blow it on b*tches, cars, lifestyle, clothes, everything. Then you go, ‘My label’s putting me know, I don’t have no money.”

6ix9ine suggested that they should manage their money properly because once these labels have the artists signed, they take control of almost everything. He then brought up the situation with NBA YoungBoy, like how the latter was forced to sell his catalog, publisher’s share, writing earnings, among others. He said:

“They pay you every three months. You get a check for your writer sound exchange, a BMI, whether you are a BMI or ASCAP.”

The rapper said one ends up selling everything. When Adin Ross asked if he sold his catalogs too, 6ix9ine said he didn’t. However, he opined that when one sells their catalogs, they get a large percentage of money, which people think is a big deal but he said it’s nothing fancy.

Adin Ross talks about what he previously thought of 6ix9ine

During the stream, Adin Ross said that he previously had different feelings about Daniel Hernandez. It was around four to five years ago and at the time, Ross was new to the internet. DJ Akademiks, who was also present during the stream, told Ross:

“I think it's important for you to you have to acknowledge a little bit that you were a little bit scared of the brand of 6ix9ine. It was volatile.”

Adin Ross said:

“Back in 2021, I would have done a show with you. But I'm trying to tell you the reason why it didn't happen is because I thought it was smart to start a beef with you because you were so viral.”

As they discussed having security, 6ix9ine said that he got rid of it. He mentioned that every time he met Wack 100, he had no security. He even met him in the middle of the street in the Bahamas. Daniel also said that if he and Wack ever got into a fight, there is a chance that Wack would win since he had more physical strength.

Elsewhere during the conversation, 6ix9ine said that loyalty dies when one stops being loyal. As such, one should stop being loyal to the other person who had broken the loyalty in the first place.
