Among all of Taylor Swift's moments in the spotlight, one interaction still clearly stands out for her: her first meeting with Jason Kelce, the older brother of her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Taylor Swift shared her initial impressions of Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, on her appearance on the New Heights podcast.
The pop star joined brothers Jason and Travis Kelce, where she recalled meeting the Philadelphia Eagles center and his wife at a Kansas City Chiefs game in early 2024. “Did you know I was told to be on my best behavior?” Jason asked during the special edition of the show, which he cohosts with Travis.
“I didn’t know what you were told, I did know that one of the first things I saw you say to Kylie [was], ‘I was just shotgunning beers with the Bills Mafia and I really want to go through one of the fire tables.’ … She goes, ‘OK. Can we not do that right now?’” she explained.
Taylor Swift teased that Kylie had since used that exact phrase with their 4-year-old, before adding,
“I meet you, you’re exactly as I thought you would be. Kylie is exactly as I thought she would be. The realest. The smartest, the coolest. You’re fantastic.”
Taylor Swift recalls Jason Kelce’s wild shirtless moment at Chiefs playoff game:

The encounter happened in a VIP suite during the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Divisional Playoff game against the Buffalo Bills on January 21, 2024. Jason, who had just retired from the NFL, made quite a scene. The former Philadelphia Eagles center tore off his shirt, yelled out the window with a beer in hand, and jumped into the stands.
“I swear to god, Jason, you flew through the window at lightspeed, I love this new world that Travis has shown me. It’s so fun. It’s so exciting.” shared Taylor.
Jason, who married Kylie in 2018, later admitted that his wife wasn’t exactly pleased with the stunt.
“I don’t think she was happy about it, to be honest with you, I gave Kylie a heads-up the moment we got into the suite. And she said, ‘Jason don’t you dare.’” he shared.
He explained that Kylie had been “already telling me to be on my best behavior ‘cause we were meeting Taylor.”
To which Jason reminded her, the workings of his charm,
“Kylie, when I met you, the first day I met you I was black-out drunk and fell asleep at the bar. This is part of the charm. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm.”
Taylor Swift announces ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ album during podcast debut on New Heights:

Taylor Swift made a big splash at her debut on New Heights with more than just light conversation. The singer used her appearance on the podcast to announce her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. According to the BBC, the pop superstar also provided an update on life after the Eras Tour, which ran for nearly two years across five continents before ending in December.
Set for release on October 3, features a striking cover image of Swift in a diamond-covered dress, lying in turquoise green water with only her face and wrist visible above the surface. Pre-orders went live on her website as the episode aired, briefly causing the site to crash. Swift said she began writing the album during the Eras Tour, often making trips back to Sweden while performing in Europe to record.
“I was basically exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating,” she explained.
“Literally living the life of a showgirl,” Travis chimed in.
The 12-track album includes the title song featuring Sabrina Carpenter and, according to Travis, has an “upbeat” sound, providing a sharp contrast to The Tortured Poets Department. “Life is more upbeat,” Swift said with a smile directed at him. She described the project as telling the story of “everything that was going on behind the curtain” during her tour, noting that orange was chosen as the theme color because it energizes her.
